Mizushima's Initial Hero Costume
A/N: So this is not a chapter but a deep dive into Y/N's hero costume and some rough ideas I thought about, below are some of the key features-and the costume will of course get updated as she'd unlock her full potential later on. I also mentioned how her outfit would look after each upgrade, as she unlocks each new forms of her quirk-that would suit her, these are again just rough thoughts maybe I'd implemented them as we move on further.
1. Water-Resistant Suit
The main body of her costume will be made of a water-resistant, lightweight material. This allows her to move freely in battle, especially when using large amounts of water. The fabric will be a deep ocean blue, reflecting her connection to water, with silver accents that shimmer like light on the surface of a river or ocean.
The suit is designed to be sleek and aerodynamic, similar to a high-performance swimsuit, allowing her to move quickly through water or in humid environments. The fabric is flexible, making it easy for her to perform acrobatic movements.
2. Water Storage and Distribution
Water Storage Units will be built into the costume. These are small tanks located on her hips or lower back, storing a limited amount of water that she can use in situations where moisture is scarce. These units are designed to be discreet and lightweight, so they don't hinder her movements.
Thin tubing runs along her arms and legs, allowing her to quickly access and direct water from the storage units when needed. These tubes are designed to be sleek and blend seamlessly with the suit's design, and can be upgraded to handle other forms of water manipulation (vapor, ice) as she develops her quirk.
3. Aquatic Design Elements
The suit will feature subtle wave and ripple patterns along the sides, representing the flow and movement of water. These designs aren't just aesthetic; they help to channel the water she summons, increasing her control over its movement.
A hood or helmet could be incorporated into her costume for underwater missions, providing her with goggles that allow clear vision in murky or wet environments. The helmet would be optional but useful for certain scenarios.
4. Flexible Armor
Lightweight, flexible armor will be incorporated into key areas-her shoulders, chest, and shins-for protection in combat. The armor is designed to withstand both physical impact and elemental attacks (fire, explosions, etc.), providing her with some defense while keeping her agile.
The armor will be a mix of black and silver to contrast with the blue of her suit, giving it a modern, tactical look.
5. Gloves with Hydro-Control
Her gloves will have a specialized mechanism that enhances her control over water, allowing her to form precise shapes or manipulate water pressure with ease. These gloves could also have temperature control, which will come into play when she starts freezing water later in the story.
The fingertips of the gloves might have subtle nozzles or controls that help her create more focused streams of water, allowing her to fight at long range if necessary.
6. Boots with Water Propulsion
Her boots will have hydro-propulsion technology, giving her the ability to move quickly over water or perform short bursts of speed. This will help her with quick escapes or fast, powerful strikes. The propulsion system would work by releasing concentrated water jets from the soles, allowing her to glide or jump quickly.
The boots are designed to be durable and flexible, making them ideal for both land and aquatic environments.

Upgrades as Y/N's Powers Grow
As Y/N unlocks more advanced aspects of her quirk (such as freezing water or controlling vapor), her costume will evolve to match her new capabilities.
1. Ice Manipulation:
When she gains control over freezing water, the costume can be upgraded to have temperature-resistant materials that handle extreme cold. Her gloves will gain cryo-control tech, allowing her to precisely freeze water or create ice structures without damaging her hands.
The wave designs on her suit could take on a more crystalline appearance, hinting at her control over ice.
2. Vapor Manipulation:
As she learns to manipulate water vapor or mist, her costume could include vapor dispersal units or mist generators built into her gloves or boots. These would allow her to create a fog around the battlefield or confuse enemies during combat.
The tubing on her suit could be upgraded to handle vapor as well, expanding her range of attack options.
3. Combat Tools:
In the future, her costume could be equipped with combat tools that work alongside her quirk. For example, she could have water blades or staffs that can shift between solid (ice) and liquid forms, giving her versatility in battle.
These tools could also help her manipulate her quirk in more refined ways, allowing her to shape water into more complex forms (whips, shields, etc.).

Color Scheme: Deep ocean blue as the primary color, with silver and black accents. The shimmering effect on the suit symbolizes water's reflective surface.
Symbolism: Y/N's costume should evoke both the tranquility and destructive power of water. The ripples and waves reflect her fluidity and adaptability, while the armor hints at the sheer force she can summon.
