CHAPTER 82: Tactics and Tenacity

The buzzer signaled the end of the round, and both teams took a breath as the dust settled on the battlefield. Class B's Kendo gave her team a proud nod, and despite the fatigue, she managed a confident grin. Dark Shadow retreated to Tokoyami's side, ruffled and tired, while Momo, Aoyama, and Hagakure regrouped, shoulders heavy with exhaustion yet filled with the satisfaction of a hard-fought battle.

Class A and Class B students watching from the sidelines burst into applause, cheering on their classmates. Despite the friendly competition, there was mutual respect all around, as each team had showcased impressive skills and unique tactics.

"That was intense!" Izuku exclaimed, his eyes alight with excitement as he analyzed the match in his mind. "Both teams had great teamwork, and Kendo's leadership really kept Class B organized under pressure."

Next to him, Ochaco smiled and nodded. "Yeah, and it was amazing how Momo kept adapting her strategies on the spot. They really pushed each other to their limits."

Denki grinned and pumped his fists. "Class A all the way! I knew they'd hold their ground, even with Class B's sneaky moves!"

Monoma, who had been observing quietly with a thoughtful expression, gave a low hum and smirked. "Don't get too comfortable, Class A," he muttered, folding his arms. "Class B still has plenty of surprises up our sleeve."

As the students left the battlefield, they shared brief words of encouragement and respect with each other. Kuroiro nodded to Tokoyami, admiration in his eyes for the way Dark Shadow had fought against his shadow-based quirk. Momo and Kendo exchanged a firm handshake, acknowledging each other's skills and determination.

Aizawa called the students' attention, his tone even. "That was a well-fought battle. You all showed a strong sense of teamwork and adaptability. Let's keep that energy going for the next round."

With the announcement, the focus shifted to the third team match, and a new sense of anticipation filled the air. Team 3, comprising Tenya Iida, Shoto Todoroki, Mashirao Ojiro, and Mezo Shoji from Class A, would be squaring off against Sen Kaibara, Pony Tsunotori, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, and Juzo Honenuki from Class B.

You caught Shoto's eye, giving him a small nod of encouragement. He returned it with a determined look, his usual calm expression hiding a flicker of intensity beneath. Tenya adjusted his glasses and held himself tall, his disciplined posture reflecting his readiness for the upcoming match. Ojiro and Shoji exchanged a silent look, each mentally preparing for the challenge ahead.

On the other side, Tetsutetsu clenched his fists with a fierce grin, his steel-hard resolve practically radiating from him. "Time to show these guys what we're made of!" he declared, earning nods of agreement from his teammates. Juzo, ever calm, ran his hand over the ground, mentally planning how he'd use his quirk to gain an advantage.

Pony, with her bright and enthusiastic energy, pumped her fists. "Let's go, Class B! We can do this!"

As both teams prepared, Shinso, watching closely from the sidelines, looked thoughtful. "This match will be interesting. They're both strong teams, and their quirks offer a lot of potential counters for each other."

Izuku turned to him with a nod. "I think so too. Shoto and Tetsutetsu have quirks that are resilient in different ways, and Tenya's speed could be a huge advantage if they play their cards right. But Juzo's ability to soften the ground could completely disrupt their movements."

The anticipation thickened as the students took their positions on the field. The battlefield was reset, with obstacles and barriers rearranged to provide new challenges and tactical advantages.
