Fate Whispered to the warrior 'You cannot withstand the storm' and the warrior whispers back 'I am the storm'

After a fun time watching Zoro get out-numbered and played by sky-sharks the crew voted on scouting out the local area. Chopper was destinated to stay with the ship while the others were going to scout.

Dawnya apron hearing the plan, was the first to launched herself across the gap. Landing safely in the trees, bare feet barely touching the moss cover bark before her attention moved towards the rest of the crew.

Robin went next, using her devil fruit to swing a vine across to the decking.

Then Zoro, who surprisingly let out a roar as he swung on the vine, robin let out a little chuckle at the sound, the words Tarzan where muttered but Dawnya didn't understand the references.

Last was Nami, the gold lover screamed the whole way across until robin caught the red headed girl.

"Do you think he'd be alright?" Dawnya asked as the group waved goodbye to the small reindeer.

"He should be fine, and he's got that whistle" Zoro grunted before turning right.

Dawnya flashes out a hand, gripping the man's wrist and tugged him forwards. The pair where following Nami and robin. The girls leading the way though the thick trunks of some of the tallest trees she'd ever seen.

Blue hues flickered upwards as she keeps a hold of Zoro, lest the man wandered off again. What could one see at the top of those trees, how high were they? How old? Why was there soil under her feet while everything else were clouds.

She had many questions.

The group paused; robin having spotted something of interested in the side of a tree... a wall the root of the tree seemingly growing over of out of it. Barely seen. And what in Dawnya eyes appeared to be an old well, over grow in a similar fashion.

"Is that well really that significant?" zoro questioned the thoughts running though her head.

"It is... I've never thought that one would be buried under a tree. There is no sense of balance between nature and civilization" robin explained as Dawnya jumped up to Nami in said tree.

The ginger haired girl, looking to and from the paper in her hands to a telescope drawing out the features she could see.

"Hey Nami! Dawnya! See anything from up there?" Zoro yelled staring up at the two women perched on the giant tree branch. It was like everything had be hit with a giant spell, causing it all to swell in massive proportions.

"The island where God lives... upper yard" Nami mumble eyes scanning the horizon with the telescope, pen and paper away as she focuses on something in the distance.

"isn't that..." mutter Dawnya, the raven swordswomen squinting looking towards the thing that caught the ginger's attention.

"Well, this changes things..."

"Why aren't you two saying anything? Did you see God?"

At least some of her questions had been answered. Well one had... leading to more popping up much to her annoyance. "Take me down" ordered the navigator too enrapt in her discovery to inform those below what they had swordswomen picked the ginger up jumping from the tree to the floor, "warn me next time!" Nami screeched, clinging onto the women for dear life.

"But you told-"

"Oi Nami!" Zoro called out as the pair landed, "just tell me what did you see?"

"Never mind that, just shut up and follow me!" the ginger ordered sharpy; Zoro glanced towards the long-haired swordswomen raised brow in question.

"Seeing is believing" she shrugged not quite sure how to explain what the pair had spotted.

-x-x-

Before long the group stood by a decaying stone ruin, similar patterns decorated on the walls with overgrown vines creping along.

Wide eyes the group stare at the structure in disbelief.

"haven't we seen this before?" Nami pointed out while Robin tilted her head.

"What the... wasn't that on the ground?" question a confused Zoro.

"No, it isnt," robin muttered walking to the side of the building, dangerously close to the cliff drop, "this is the other half of the one down there" robin placed a hand on the stone, following the lines of the broken cracks. "Which means that this island used to be on the ground. It was strange that this island wasn't made out of clouds."

Dawnya glanced behind them – back into the woods there was a disturbance in the air as Nami talked. Something what happening on the gods island. But what she wasn't too sure.

"This is the other half of the island; this island was originally Jaya!"

Which meant the golden city didn't sink it's been in the sky all along. Something the swordswomen could see was happy about the notion of gold always seemed to appease the money ganger Nami. Now they had two plans, well in Nami's mind, steal the gold and get off floating Jaya.

With that revelation in mind, the group of four trekked and climbed over roots and large vines back towards the ship. The sun was starting to set, as the group made it to the ship only to see...

Their ship broken and burnt, the mast was cracked, torn in two. Burnt marks littered the ships decking. It looked like it had gone through war.

"Chopper!? Where are you?!"

"What happened chopper?" the group called out from the bank, looking for the reindeer in the wreckage. Was the ship even sailable anymore?

"The mast of the going merry is gone. What kind of weird repair did he do?" Zoro muttered, she gave him a blank glance, did he really think that chopper did that?

"That's not it!" Nami yelled, "he must have been attacked!"

Dawnya took a step back, before sprinting forwards. With a step and a jump, she leaped into the air. She soared above the cloudy waters, towards the ship. An eye out in case the attackers were still about.

She didn't have to worry about that, chopper soon appeared battered and bruise which some tale to tell. She landed on the slightly burn decking – it appeared worser than it was. She looked over the crying creature of to turn to the sounds of familiar chatter.

Her eyes crinkled, Crescent moon shaped for a moment, her lips under the mask tugging upwards. It seems like the crew was back together again.

The pirate crew sat about, each side explaining what had occurred with them. But it all came to the conclusion.

They were going to fine the gold!
