Chapter 59

(Hiro's POV)

Akira's plan was a little risky, but had the best chances of working, especially with our new upgrades. We were standing at the news building about to go on air.

"Big Hero 6 is here to make an announcement given the recent events," the broadcaster explained. He stepped out of the way and let us speak.

"The city is in danger of a massive attack from the villains we've been facing. We ask that you evacuate the city to minimize the damage," I ordered. "As for the villains, the following is a personal message to Yama and Evan. Let's finish this. My team, with the teammate you failed to get rid of, against you and your bots combined. We'll take you on by the docks." Akira wanted to make sure we were the ones inviting them to fight this time so that we had the upper hand.

We left the station and made our way quickly to the docks. On our way, we ordered anyone who didn't see the news to evacuate the area. We arrived at the docks with no sign of our enemies for an hour.

"Shouldn't they be here by now?" Wasabi asked. Before anybody could reply to him, a loud explosion was set off slightly further in the city. We looked to one another in worry, and then raced to the point.

Buildings were a blaze and the street was cracked. Yama and Evan stood together on the street with an army of robots behind them. There were a ton of the people-sized ones and quite a few giant monstrous robots with machine guns and the like. Once Evan and Yama noticed us, they jumped up onto a tall pile of debris in order to survey the battle. The few people who ignored the evacuation were running from them and screaming.

A police car pulled up and the police officer jumped out of his car. He began firing at one of the larger robots. The bullets bounced right off of it as it turned menacingly to look at the policeman. It took a few steps forwards until it was right in front of the car. It lifted its arm, and the police officer looked up at it in horror. Before he could get out of the way, the robot smashed its gigantic arm down, completely flattening the car and the officer. Wasabi gasped and looked away in horror.

Another giant robot lifted its foot was about to step on another civilian. This time, we were close enough and prepared, so Gogo sped in, swiped the woman out of the way, and dropped her off down the street before zooming back to us.

"Welcome to your grave, Big Failure 6," Yama welcomed with a chuckle. Yama and Evan both were using thick armor and armor-piercing guns.

"Follow the basic plan, everyone," I commanded to my team. Fred leapt forwards and hooked himself onto a nearby building. He used his flames to weaken a building towards the back of the army. Gogo zoomed in with Wasabi chasing after. They both had their blades out and were mowing down the smaller bots. I went to towards the middle of the army and used a combination of my invisibility and electric shocks to fry the bots while Baymax went in behind me and destroyed the ones that I missed. Akira went in as well and began shutting down bots left and right by touching them. The bots that she couldn't get close enough to touch, she shot her electric bullets through.

The building that Fred was wearing down began to crumble and then fell down over the back third of the robots. Fred fist pumped due to squashing a third of the smaller robots and 3 giant robots, but his excitement was short lived. The giant bots that got crushed by the rubble stood back up slowly and pushed the debris out of the way. They didn't appear to have more than a few small scratches on their surface. The smaller bots in that section were smashed completely, but the giant robots were tougher than we thought.
