Alderaan was your next stop, and it would only a few more cycles until you would be landing in Aldera, the capital city, were Senator Organa and his wife lived. You did your best to keep yourself busy and calm but the excitement in the air was palatable now.

Crosshairs injuries were coming along well, although he remained grouchy as ever and continued to refuse any force-related healing. Tech was tense, and he showed his nervousness by pouring himself into his work and speaking to you less, although he was open to your hugs and affection from time to time. Hunter was trying to relax from the battle plans occurring around your wedding and Wrecker was doing his best to hold in all his sex-related jokes since Omega was actively present. You could feel your nerves building, a steady anxiety of things to come, but you kept it inside your mind, and would find yourself often sitting with Tech and holding his hand to relieve your anxieties.

"Are you alright?" Tech asked one time when you had joined him for morning coffee before landing. You quietly smiled as you held his hand "I'm so excited, I'm afraid".

"I am experiencing a similar feeling" Tech nodded in agreement "It is the intensified emotional weight of the commitment we are preparing for".

"I guess I am nervous about it" you sigh, looking deep into his brown eyes "but I'm not nervous about you".

A smile gently graced his face and Tech leaned closer next to you "I suppose my unintentional stress is from the emotions involved. The only ceremonies I have ever attended were militaristic and academic in nature. This one is entirely based on our relationship, and while I would not doubt my capacities and improvement in comprehension, I will state that it is a drastic undertaking".

"I understand, I guess I'm just nervous about all the traditions, the arrangements, the guests..." you explain.

Tech chuckled as he sipped his coffee "You have a fear of logistics".

"Guess so" you replied with a sigh, leaning over onto his shoulder.

"I can handle that realm easily" Tech commented "So I would encourage you to trust my execution".

"I will" you smiled back mischievously "if you let me help with the emotional parts".

"Then between the two of us, this shall be fairly straight forward" Tech nodded, although his inner nerves were picking up again. Intense feelings were still not his strong suit, and while they were not negative it was hard to know what method they should be expressed in. Thankfully between his fiancé, Hunter and Omega, Tech had begun to explore more intense emotions and relational dynamics. Additionally, there was also nervousness about what he would say during the ceremony. The only details Tech had been given by Senator Organa were to write vows that would express and tell the story of his love for you ... it was horrifyingly vague.

You could see the gears turning in Tech's head as he took another long drag of his coffee and then turned his brown eyes back to yours. "I know your very eloquent" you comment "but as long as we both make it out of this ceremony alive I don't think anything can go wrong. We'll just help each other out and then we'll be together on the other side".

"I am looking forward to that" Tech replied, a slight blush coming across his face.

"Being together?" you jested, and realizing Tech was actually implying a sex joke for once.

"Affirmative. It has many positive attributes I look forward to enjoying" Tech replied, before kissing you on the forehead. You could feel your cheeks start to burn as you blushed, but it did help you take your mind off the stressors at hand.

Aldera, a beautiful city situated in a small, forested valley between sweeping mountains. It had tall buildings with curved arches reaching up towards the clouds, and a variety of well-kept gardens and public buildings that connected the forest to the large lake along the edge of the city. This was Senator Organa's home world, but also the home of the intergalactic university of Alderaan and the Royal palace which could be seen along the skyline, distinguishable only by its more decorative architecture. To your surprise the landing coordinates given to your group landed you at the palace on a small landing pad with a bridge extending into the main building.
