Chapter 46. Revenge Part 2

Alex's P.O.V.

I kept staring at my uncle. The guy acted like I was the unreasonable one. Cain grabbed my shoulder and asked, "What if Astro doesn't show up, Alex? It's getting late." I smirked and replied, "Then we'll force him to come. We have suffered enough because of these two." I conjured my sword and grabbed my uncle's collar. My uncle gazed into my eyes and uttered, "Stop this, Alex. It won't end well. Trust me." I chuckled and stated, "You can't imagine how I felt when Cain rejected me, Mitchell because you have never known true love."

Mitchell had stopped bleeding, but his wound was still open. I gazed at the wound and said, "It seems like losing half of your chest doesn't affect your mate. Let's make it worse." My uncle screamed in pain when I cut off his leg. He growled and asked, "What did I do to deserve this much pain?" Cain grabbed my uncle's head and uttered, "Let me refresh your memories." My uncle clutched his hair when images of our painful past began flashing in his mind. My uncle grabbed Cain's hand and said, "I didn't mean to hurt you guys, Cain." I laughed and uttered, "We are not kids anymore, Mitchell. Ask Astro how he survived after you betrayed him."

My uncle tried to avoid my next attack but failed. He groaned when I cut off his hand. Cain stroked my uncle's head and asked, "Is it too much to bear? Try calling out to your mate." My uncle sobbed and replied, "I have been lying to you all. Astro won't come. He gave up on me years ago." I had heard enough. I kicked my uncle and yelled, "In what kind of hole have you been hiding? The guy is starving for your attention."

My uncle was getting on my nerves. I gazed into his eyes and said, "You are a selfish prick. You could have avoided all this by waiting for your true mate." My uncle clutched the hem of his shirt and uttered, "You don't understand. I made a promise to Alvin. We met each other in high school. It was love at first sight for us. After the death of his parents, I vowed to protect him." Cain crossed his arms over his chest and uttered, "You didn't have to sleep with him to protect him." My uncle frowned and asked, "You know the truth? I'm sorry. I couldn't control myself. Alvin was gorgeous." My uncle was barely alive but was still spouting nonsense. He was appointed as the head enforcer when he was twenty. He could have avoided Alvin's advances easily.

I was about to cut off my uncle's head when a spear flew toward me. I cut the spear in half and yelled, "Come out if you dare!" Cain took a stand and uttered, "He took the bait." I closed my eyes to sense where Astro was. I chuckled when I saw he had brought a rogue army. I ruffled my uncle's hair and said, "Rejoice, uncle. Your other half is here." My uncle tried to bite me. Cain pushed him to the ground and stated, "Watch and learn how mate-bonds work." Mitchell gasped when Cain changed his form. Cain's silver armor shone brightly in the sun. My uncle couldn't believe his eyes. He groaned and asked, "How is this possible? You are a normal werewolf." Cain chuckled and replied, "You managed to break us apart but not our bond, Mitchell. A fire started to burn in me after Alex disappeared. I started training like crazy and became the man I am now."

I kissed Cain's cheek and said, "A wave of attack is coming. Can you handle it?" Cain chuckled and answered, "Of course, they don't call me the master of spells for nothing." Astro was trying to break our barrier. I smirked and uttered, "I'm going to the frontline. Take care of yourself, my mate." Cain hugged me and stated, "Go wild, Alex. I'll be waiting for you." I kissed Cain softly and flew toward the border. Astro growled when he saw me. I smiled and uttered, "It's nice of you to show up, Astro." Astro puffed out his chest and asked, "Do you know what kind of power I wield?" I conjured my sword and uttered, "Yes, and I'm taking it away today."

Astro laughed and uttered, "Look at that. A baby in a diaper is acting tough." I ignored Astro's taunts and said, "Astro Blane, I, as the head enforcer, find you guilty of more than a thousand crimes that are punishable by death. So be prepared to die." Astro Blane changed his form and took a stand. The man looked intimidating, but I didn't care. Things were going to end that day. I almost lost my balance when Astro came at me like a bison. Astro tried to stab me, but I managed to push him away. Astro growled and yelled, "You slippery bastard!" I laughed when the man got tired of attacking me. I frowned when the ground started shaking. I quickly gazed into Cain's direction. He had managed to kill many rogues. Our men were doing their best to subdue the rogues.

I groaned when Astro cut off my right arm. Cain felt my pain. I quickly mind-linked him and said, "Stay focused. I can beat him with one arm." I could sense Cain was angry, but he still obeyed me. Astro laughed when he saw me clutching my arm. I sighed and thought, "Cursed are those who laugh at other people's misery." It was like Astro had read my mind. He kicked me to the ground and yelled, "You are a hypocrite! I didn't see you crying when you were torturing my mate!" I got up and said, "Let's get serious. I want to be home by dinner." It was like Astro had lost his mind. He multiplied himself and began attacking me from all sides.

I had suffered some heavy blows. I wanted to distract Astro, so I acted like I was losing focus. Astro clutched my hair when I fell on my knees. He gazed into my eyes and uttered, "You are all bark and no bite, head enforcer." I smirked and replied, "You can do whatever you want, but you will die today." Astro huffed and said, "How laughable. I will go after your parents and your children after I butcher you and the so-called Mr. President over there." Astro shouldn't have irked me. I gathered all my powers and opened the gate of hell. I summoned five powerful demons and yelled, "Kill all the rogues!" The demons instantly followed my orders. Our men didn't want to get in the demon's way, so they retreated."

I used a spell to heal my arm. Astro gasped when I conjured a shield and an axe. I gazed at my shiny weapon and uttered, "Let's give Astro the attention he deserves." Astro thought he could win by attacking me continuously, but he was wrong. The more you attacked me, the more power I gained. He fell on his knees after a while. I had managed to hurt him many times. Astro's looked horrible. The demons had finished their job. I sent them back to hell.

Our men had started clearing the field. Cain dragged Mitchell to us. He threw the man at Astro and said, "You two make such a good pair." Mitchell started panting. He had finally realized what he had done. Mitchell gazed at Astro and said, "I'm sorry for hurting you, Astro. Cain and Alex made me realize how much I messed up. I should have told Alvin the truth and left with you."

Cain sighed and uttered, "We can't change the past. Alex and I would have wandered around like you two if we weren't strong. Now accept the punishment you deserve." I conjured my sword and declared, "I will send you two to hell today. You won't be reborn again. That's your punishment." Astro grabbed my feet and said, "Please, give us a chance to repent." I sighed and uttered, "Take it up with the moon goddess. I have done my part."

I beheaded Astro and Mitchel before they could plead for their life. I pushed their bodies into the pits of hell and hugged Cain. Cain rubbed my back and uttered, "I'm glad that's over. Let's go home." I cupped Cain's face and kissed him passionately. Cain laughed and declared, "You are unbelievable," when I said, "Forget about home. Let's go to a hotel to celebrate our win."
