Lando Norris- I do want it 2

Standing nervously in the hotel foyer. Y/n and Lily has came to visit. I've seen y/n at a few different race weekends now. Every time I see her my heart skips a beat. But this is Lilys very first one.
I spot y/n walking out of the lift. I should've just went to her room. Or have them come to mine but it felt too intrusive.
As y/n comes closer, I can tell something is wrong. Her eyes are puffy and she looks like she hasn't slept.
I smile as I don't want Lily to be worried. But I am about y/n.
"Hey.. what's up?" I look at y/n. But she shakes her head and more tears come out.
"Dads being mean again." Lily tells me. "Oh?" I look at y/n. I hug her and she just crumbles. I've never had to deal with this sort of thing before.
"Will we go wash your face and speak about it later?" I ask her. Who nods her head.
"This was meant to be special and he's ruined it as usual." I smile.
"No he hasn't and won't spoil it."
I've spoken to Lily on FaceTime a few times and there is nothing awkward about meeting her.
"Dad says I've not to meet you." Lily tells me, as we sit and wait for y/n coming back.
"Oh! How so?" Lily shakes her head at me. Either she doesn't want to tell me, or doesn't know.
"Oh love. Come on. It's okay." I try and reassure y/n but haven't a clue how too.
"Baby, this is Lando. Officially." I smile at how y/n introduces me.
"Yeah but Dads family said I've not to meet him." Lily tells her.
"I'm just mummy's friend who lets her come to see the races for free." I tease y/n a little. As it's what usually calms her down.
"See that's what I said to him. He just doesn't believe me." I smile at her, we are very far from friends.. wouldn't even say it's a situationship or friends with benefits.
I've fell so hard and fast for her, it's unreal. I begged her to come to the last race, as my parents were there and I wanted her to meet them.
We speak every day and FaceTime when we can. Often falling asleep to each other on it.
She has mentioned how the ex's family are being an absolute mare.
As we take a wander around the city, we are a fair bit away from the track. As I was hoping it would be far enough away to meet Lily and y/n without being spotted too much.

We end up in a little play park. "I'll go and play with her. You take a minute." Y/n nods her head.
"I love you." I tell her. She looks up at me in shock.
"Huh.. so you? Huh?" I smile at her. "Yes. I love you." I push a kiss onto her forehead and run off to push Lily on the swing.
I watch as she sneaks a few photos, so I make sure that Lily and I are smiling or laughing for her.

"Do you like my mummy?" I nod my head when Lily asks me.
"Of course I do. Your mummy is an incredible person. You are so lucky you get to spend every day with her. I wish I could." Lily giggles at me. "You can. But i will be there too." I smile at her.
"Of course. There's no Mummy without you. Will we go get her and get some ice cream?" Lily giggles and runs over to her mum.
"Ice cream ice cream!" Y/n looks at me.
"Oh on a race weekend?" She looks at me smiling. I nod my head. "Yeah. I know a place up here."
I don't even think when, Lily says her legs are sore and throw her on my shoulders.
Y/n looks at me and smiles. I grab her hand, so she doesn't feel left out. But I remember the conversation that I had with Max.
Just be myself with Lily, which I'm trying to do. Just treat her like I do my nieces.
I nudge y/n "take a photo please." I keep her beside Lily and I.
Kissing her deeply. I've never felt more at home with anyone than I do with y/n. Lily is her double.

Y/n points out Kelly and P. "LANDO!!!" P shouts over the square where we are walking.
"Y/n!! You're here too." She squeals. Y/n bends down and hugs P. "Hiya. I've got Lily with me this weekend." I put Lily back on the ground beside P. They both smile at each other. "I'm Penelope. Want to be friends." Lily smiles at P and grabs the hand, that P has out to her.
"I'm Lily." She grins.
Y/n smiles at her baby.
Max walks out the ice cream parlour. "Alright mate." He says to me.
He gives me a look. Then looks down at the table, P and Lily are chatting away.
"Told you they'd be fine." He laughs. I nod my head.
"What flavour do you want Lando?" I look up at y/n.
"Go in mate, I'll watch Lily." Max says.
