Céline spent Sunday morning until noon, working on essays that were given on Friday.
"We're taking the rest of the day off." Daphne groaned, messaging her head. Céline, Daphne and Tracey were heading to the Great Hall for lunch. "If I read and write anymore about Jupiter's moons, my head explode."
"It's nice out today. We can go to the lake." Tracey suggested.
"Oooh, yes, please." Daphne said excitedly. "Céline? You're joining us this time. You spent most of yesterday morning and afternoon with Potter and Weasley. It's our turn."
Céline smiled at Daphne as she attempted to give her big puppy-like eyes. "Of course I will. I could use some vitamin D."
"Wonderful!" Daphne exclaimed. "Oh, Speaking of vitamin D." She said with a grin, pointing over to Draco who was sitting at the Slytherin table talking to Crabbe and Goyle. Céline laughed, gaining his attention. He looked at her curiously as they walked over and sat down.
"Malfoy, would you like to come to the Lake after lunch?" Daphne asked.
"No. Not really. I have better things to do." He said uninterested.
"Aw, that's too bad. I suppose it'll just be me, Tracey, and Céline. Sorry Cél, and you even said it would be nice to have Malfoy and Nott come too." She said feigning disappointment.
"What?" Céline looked at her friend confused, knowing she never said anything.
"I'll go." Theo said over Draco. He was leaning his head on his hand that was propped up against the table and carried his usual flirtatious grin. "It's a date—"
"I suppose I'll go." Said Draco, cutting Theo off.
Tracey stifled her laughter, and Daphne didn't even bother hiding her grin.
"Oh, you sure? I thought you said you have better things to do." Daphne asked.
"I guess I could make some time." He said smugly, looking at his watch.
"Perfect. Crabbe, Goyle, you come too." Tracey said to them.
"Water isn't really my thing." Crabbe said.
"I'd rather not go either. Don't know how to swim." Goyle said.
"You don't know how to swim?" Theo laughed, "always full of surprises with these two."
"Oh, that's too bad. I suppose it can't be helped." Daphne said.
After lunch they made their way down to the Black Lake. The sun was bright in the blue cloudless sky, and since there were no clouds, it made the weather very warm for autumn. As soon as they got to the shoreline, they began to skip rocks. Theo, Draco and Daphne ended up making it into a competition, to which Daphne won.
"You underestimated me. My sister and I used go to lakes all the time during our summers." Daphne said triumphantly.
Céline was too busy watching Daphne and Draco try another rock skipping competition, that she didn't hear Theo come up from behind her, picking her up bridal style and carrying her towards the water. Céline let out a shriek from his sudden action.
"Theo, put me down!" She demanded.
"Sorry princess, you seemed like you needed to cool off." He said grinning from ear to ear.
"But our clothes! I'm wearing a dress!" She said as she heard the sloshing of the water. The water now just above Theo's knees.
"They're just clothes." He said, and tries to launch her into the water. But just as he went to let go, she wraps her hands around the back of this neck, pulling him down with her.
