Somewhere safe. So, somewhere that her parents wouldn't be able to find her. She needed somewhere like that. She nodded at them and quickly went over to the table and stuffed whatever she had taken out back into her trunk. Putting her wand into the back of her short trousers.
She went over to the bed and stuck her hand out to the little servant that slithered on her palm and around her wrist, turning back into a bracelet. She looked up at them and Tonks impressed by the bracelet.
"That is a cool little magic trick." She said with a grin on her face.
Céline smiled at the bracelet. "It is, isn't it. It was a gift." She said softly. "How will we get to this safe place?" She looked to Professor Lupin.
"Broom, you're too young to apparate, and I'm sure they're monitoring the Floo Network. It'll take a while since we'll be flying to London, but it's the safest option." He said.
"Can you fly?" Asked Tonks.
Celine subconsciously put her hand on her left arm. It had been sore since Madame Pomfrey removed the bandages, since she hadn't been able to work it out. "I can, but I didn't bring a broom with me to Paris."
"How did you get here then?"
"I ran.." she said, looking at their horrified reaction. "What I meant was I ran to the nearest town and then some kind muggles took me here."
Tonks looked relieved, "Oh.. well," she looked at Professor Lupin, "I suppose you can just ride with me."
"I can maybe buy one. I have money." Celine suggested. Professor Lupin shook his head.
"No save your money for when school starts." He said. "Do you have something warmer to wear? It's going to get cold."
Céline looked down at her top and shorts. She opened her trunk and pulled out a sweater and the pants she wore earlier.
"Did you bring your cloak?" Asked Tonks.
"I didn't want the trunk to be heavy to carry when I ran. It was already awkward to hold." Céline said meekly.
Professor Lupin nodded in understanding, he looked at Tonks. "Stay here with her for a moment while I go get things ready." He said before stepping out of the room, leaving the two girls alone.
"Go on and change. I'm going to keep an eye out." Tonks said. Céline quickly slipped into the bathroom to dress in the warmer clothes. She slightly regretted not bringing a bigger trunk so she could fit more, but she knew she would be able to carry it with her healing arm.
She stepped out to see Tonks looking out the window.
"Is there someone in particular you're looking for?" Céline asked.
"The people you're hiding from." She responded in a less cheerful tone. "You think they would be here by now?"
Céline shrugged, "honestly I don't know. I want to say it might take them longer to come Place Cachée, seeing that I don't have any way to get here, magically. I don't know if my parents think I would ask muggles for help. But I'm sure they're making their way— if they're not already here, looking for me."
"Did you tell anyone that you were running away?" She asked. Céline went to put away her clothes.
"My house-elf caught me trying to escape right at the edge of the property, but she doesn't know where I was going and only one other person knew I was leaving.." Céline said glancing at her bracelet.
"May I ask who?" Tonks asked as she sat on the edge of the bed. Céline hesitated for a moment before nodding.
"Draco Malfoy." Céline said. Tonks expression darkened slightly.
