Céline scans her surrounds, it was bustling with witches and wizards, both young and old. Place Cachée had always been a popular place to come to during summer. Where they would have a couple of summer festivals.
She quickly made her way to the sides. Sticking close to the store, until she made it to one particular called Griffons Buveur, a pub. When she walked in, it was just as busy as it was outside. She looked around and didn't see anyone familiar, so she made her way to the counter where there was a woman wiping down the bar.
"combien pour une chambre?" Céline asked the lady. She looked at her with an eyebrow raised. (How much for a room?)
"L'été est ma période la plus occupée, mademoiselle, mais c'est un galion par nuit, et pour vous cherie, j'inclurai quelques repas." Said the woman with a smile. Céline looked at her surprised, but nodded in agreement. (Summertime is my busiest time, Miss, but it's a Galleon per night, and for you dear, I'll include a couple of meals.)
The woman grabbed a room key from under the bar and passed it to her letting her know it was on the third floor fifth room on the right. Céline pulled out her pouch from her trunk and gave her the Galleon.
"Merci, S'il y a quelqu'un qui cherche sa fille par ici—" Céline said hesitantly. (Thanks you, if anyone comes looking for their daughter around here—)
"je ne l'ai pas vus." The woman finished, giving her a knowing smile. (Haven't seen her.)
Céline nodded returning an appreciative smile. She made her way upstairs to the third floor and to the fifth room on the right, and unlocks it with the key. The moment she enters, she locks it behind her. She let out the biggest sigh of relief. For now, she was hidden in a safe place. She quickly made her way to the window to close the curtains.
She walked over to the small table in the corner and placed her trunk there and set her wand down. She checked her watch.
7:32am
She still felt nervous, but for now she needed to rest. She plopped down on the bed and sighed again. She started to feel all the events of the morning hit her at once. She couldn't believe that she actually did it. She actually ran away from that terrible place. She ran so much for so long, she finally started to feel the soreness of her legs.
She thought about Julia and Jacque and instantly felt a warmth in her chest for them. If everything goes well, she will send them a letter. She pulled out the paper from her pocket. She went over the address that Julia wrote and then to the string of numbers. She's wasn't familiar with what the use of the numbers were for, she would have to ask Harry or Hermione about it since they grew up in the muggle world.
Her mind went to Harry for a moment and hoped everything what going well with him. Then her mind went to Draco, she needed to thank him when she saw him at school for helping her come up with an escape route.
Her bracelet began to move and slither up the bed to her head. She tilted her head to the side to look at it. She gave the little silvery snake a smile.
"Hello Argen..." she said quietly, as she brings up a finger to gently nudge its head. At this moment, she felt even more thankful to Draco for giving her this magical gift. In this particular moment, she was very alone. So having this little shimmering serpent next to her, made her feel less lonely with its company.
Her eyelids felt extremely heavy, she was ready to sleep, but she forced herself up to get washed up and changed into new clothes. She was glad to see that the room had a bathroom attached. The less she spent outside of the room, the better.
After taking much needed shower and changed into clean clothes, she fell back onto the bed. The moment her head touched the pillow, all the tiredness came back. Argen coiled next to her head and she smiled at it. She let her eyes close and allowed her consciousness drift into a dreamless sleep.
