After classes were over, Céline headed to the Great Hall with Daphne and Tracey for dinner. She decided not to tell them about her interaction with Hannah, since nothing came out of it.

Once in the Great Hall, she headed over to the Hufflepuff table. There she saw Cedric sitting at the table, talking to Cho, who was standing by him.

For a split second, whatever Hannah said to her earlier that day crossed her mind. Have you never noticed? They're always together.

Céline shook her head to rid herself of that thought. It was normal, otherwise anyone could say the same thing about her and Harry or her and Draco.

As she walked over, Cedric noticed her and his face lit up. Immediately, everything else she was thinking about disappeared. She smiled at him and then looked at Cho with the same warm smile.

"Hey Cho." Céline greeted. "Are you staying to eat?" She sat down next to Cedric at the table and scooted over to make room for Cho on her other side.

"No, I'm alright. Thanks, Céline." Cho said with the same warm smile she had given her. "My friend are waiting for me at our table." She looked over to Cedric, "I'll head back over now, see you guys later."

Céline and Cedric waved to her as she walked away. They turned to each their dinner and began talking about the Yule Ball.

"From what I was told, the champions have the first dance." Cedric said and then glanced at her slightly worried, "do you know how to dance?"

"You happen to be looking at a fantastic ballroom dancer." She grinned at him. "I've been doing it since I was a child. It was practically engraved into my brain." She chuckled.

"That's great to hear. Let's hope I don't bring you down." He laughed. "We'll have to practice a little to refresh our minds."

"It's not for another two weeks, I'm sure we'll have time." She said taking a bite of her bread roll.

The evening continued with talking about their plans to coordinate their outfit but it might be a little different seeing that it was already preselected.

After dinner he walked her to her friends, always ignoring the glares he got from Draco. He kissed the top of her head and left with his friends.

Céline walked with Daphne and Tracey to the common room, with Draco, Theo, and Pansy behind them.

The next afternoon, Céline was sitting with Harry and Ron out in the courtyard. A groups of girls were passing them giggling as they looked at Harry, but then glared at Céline who was sitting next to him, reading a book.

Hermione was nowhere to be seen, much to Céline's disappointment. She was sitting there with the boys listening to Harry stress out about needing to find a partner for the ball.

"Why do girls have to go in packs?" He said out loud as soon as the groups of girls were gone. Céline snorted, "how are you supposed to get one alone to ask them?"

"Lasso one?" Ron said, causing Céline to burst into laughter. He rolled his eyes, trying to keep his grin in control. "You have any idea who you're going to ask?"

Harry just shrugged. Céline sighed after calming down for her fit of laughter. "Don't worry too much, I'm sure you'll get one just fine."

"You're one to talk. You're already going with Cedric." Harry grumbled. "You don't get to say anything." He nudged her playfully.

"Are you kidding?" Céline said giving him a slightly irritated, "just this morning, four girls came up to Cedric to ask him to the ball. Right in front of me!" She rolled her eyes. "It's like they didn't expect us going together. It was so rude."
