The day finally came that her parents went to speak with all of Céline's professors . She quietly sat next to them as they spoke with all them. Thankfully they all had great things to say about Céline, though their compliments didn't impress Céline's parents in the slightest.

To Céline everything was going well, until they came to Professor Snape's class. He was the only one she has actually talked back to and she knew he would tell them about it.

"Severus, it's been very long." Said Charles, Céline's father.

"Quite." Said Professor Snape. "I understand you have been going to the other professors for an evaluation on Miss Everhart?" He looked over to Céline, whom on the outside, was calm and collected, but on the inside was feeling very nervous.

"I expect zat zis child 'as been 'er best in your lessons?" Asked Céline's mother.

"Miss Everhart... could do her utmost best if she learned to not speak back." Snape sneered at, causing Céline's eyes to slightly widen. Her parents looked at her distastefully.

"We will be sure to speak with her about that." Her father said in a cold tone. Céline's heart plummeted to her stomach.

After about ten more minutes of her parents speaking with Professor Snape, they walk out of the classroom.

"Talking back?" Said her father icily. "Have I not taught you how to act properly?"

"I'm... sorry, father." She said reluctantly. She hadn't been sorry for her actions. It was to defend her friends and she would have done it again in a heartbeat, but saying that to her father would only make things worse.

"You have been acting out of line all year. The World Cup, talking back to a professor, you name in a gossip article?" He said with disgust in his tone. "Speaking of which, where is that boy? Diggory's son."

Céline's cheeks turned red, "he— I—" she stuttered, completely caught by surprise.

"Speak clearly, girl." He said impatiently.

"Cedric and I aren't... together anymore ." Céline said quietly. There was a moment of silence and then a click of his tongue.

"Not even Diggory's son wanted to deal with you." He said lowly, before checking his watch, "enough of this, I have important matters to attend." Without a second glance at Céline who stood then taken aback by his words, nodded at his wife and strode off.

"Viens avec moi, je veux voir ce que tu as appris en Métamorphose." Her mother said coldly, walking away. (Come with me, I want to see what you've learned in Transfiguration.)

Céline's temple throbbed causing her to flinch. She rubbed the side of her head, as she followed her mother to wherever she was taking her.

Ten minutes she spent until was finally able to transfigure a guinea fowl into a guinea pig. Something that was easy for her to do in class, but struggled now.

"Vous devez vous concentrer." Her mother said unimpressed. (You need to concentrate.)

"I'm trying." Céline said, wincing at her throbbing head, the discomfort of her headache and the words of her father made it difficult to focus.

"Not 'ard enough." Snapped Genevieve. She sighed and waved her hand at her daughter. "Zat iz enough."

Céline sighed and put her wand down. Glad that it was finally over.

"Votre performance était loin d'être impressionnante. Je ne pense pas que votre professeur vous enseigne correctement." Her mother said with distain in her tone. (Your performance was less than impressive. I don't think your professor is teaching you properly.)
