When she entered the common room, she saw that there were a couple of first and second years around, but no Draco. She crouched down and set down her little silver snake.
"Go get him, Argen." She whispered to her blue eyes serpent and it silently slithered its way up the stairs towards the boys dormitory. After a few minutes of waiting, Argen came back with a little slip of parchment tied around its body.
She picked up her little silvery snake and removed the paper. Argen wrapped around her wrist and turned into a bracelet again. She opened up the parchment and saw his neat green ink:
You come here.
D.MCéline rolled her eyes and started up the stairs, but then paused in front of the stairs that continued to the right. She hadn't really thought about it before, but she didn't even know if she was allowed on the boys side. Then she remembered that Draco had helped her up to her room once the year before.
She took one step to the right and waited for something to happen, but nothing did. She let out a sight of relief and continued up. She walked through the hallway looking at the plaques by each door until she read the ones that said Fifth year, now to find the right one that belonged to Draco.
A door opened just a few dorms down and out popped Draco's head through the doorframe.
"Took you long enough." He said smirking at her. Her face turned red again as she walked over. He moved aside for her to enter and she hesitated for a moment before going in. "What brings you here?" He said coolly as he walked over to one of the desks.
"To give you a piece of my mind." She said, completely forgetting to add the frustration she was feeling earlier into her voice as she looked around.
The room was pretty much the exact same as her dorm. For some reason she thought it would be different. More boyish she supposed. In a way it was, it was a bit messier than her room, except for one bed. The area around that bed was clean and organized and the bed was neatly made, she could only assume by the look of it that it was Draco's bed. Her eyes wondered a little bit more until she looked back at Draco who was leaning against the desk with his arms crossed just watching her.
"Well?" He said. "You are free to speak your mind." He said with a smirk.
"Well... I er—" she stumbled over her words and as walked over to him. She sighed, "why did you do that?" She said more directly.
"Why did I do what?" He asked calmly.
"You know exactly what. Why did you kiss my cheek?" She asked, causing her cheeks to turn red again. "Why are you acting ...different?"
"How am I acting different?" He asked, pushing himself off the desk and dropping his arms.
"For one you kissed my cheek." She said, looking away. He took a step closer.
"You kissed mine." he said back.
"B-but that's different." She argued back, her eyes looking back at him. "That was like er— like a thank you for Argen." She held her wrist up to show the bracelet. "That's another thing. I have been told that you don't give anyone else gifts."
"And if I don't?" He said in a cool voice.
"Well... that's I think one of the main reasons Pansy isn't talking to me now.." Céline said.
"What else is different about me?" He said moving closer. Céline moved past him towards the desk. He stood there for a moment before smirking and turning around.
"Um.. oh!" She said turning around. "You've been more..." she felt a little embarrassed saying it out loud.
"More?" He said, wanting her to continue. He began taking steps towards her again.
