Céline spent the day with her friends in the Slytherin common room and by five o'clock, they went back to their dorm to get ready. To her surprise she saw Pansy in the room in a much better mood than she was that morning.

After a couple hours, they had finished getting themselves ready with half an hour to spare. Céline looked at her friends in awe of their beautiful dress robes.

Daphne was wearing a beautiful black tulle gown with long chiffon cape sleeves and had decided to wear her platinum blonde hair in an updo.

Tracey wore a simple but very elegant dark navy a-line satin gown, with her hair sleeked back into a neat low bun.

Pansy had put on beautiful pale pink a-line dress with frills and her usual straight bob was now wavy and she had pinned one side of it back with four beautiful silver rhinestoned hairpins.

"Wow, you girls look stunning!" Céline said, "your dates are going to have to fight off other boys tonight." She giggled. She knew that both Daphne and Tracey were going to the ball with two guys from Slytherin. Daphnes date was Blaise, and Tracey's date was a fifth year Slytherin student, Céline believed his name was Ethan.

"We look stunning?" Daphne said, looking at us in awe. "My friend, you're going to be the star of the ball!"

"You look really beautiful, Cél." Tracey said, kindly.

Céline was wearing a beautiful dark emerald green off-shoulder velvet gown. The velvet fabric shimmered like starlight. Her hair was mostly down, letting her wavy curls cascade down to her mid back. The top half was pull and pinned back with her favorite pair of hairpins and she wore the new necklace that matched them around her neck.

She blushed at the compliments from her friends, "thank you guys. That's very sweet." She looked in the mirror really quick to make sure everything was in place and then looked back at the three girls. "Are you guys ready to head down?"

They all nodded and walking out of the room and into the corridor. As they walked down the stairs, towards the common room, Céline looked at Pansy who was walking slightly ahead.

"Pansy, I meant to ask... who are you going to the ball with?" Céline asked. Pansy looked slightly over her shoulder, smirking at her. Before she could answer, they heard a low whistle.

Céline looked in front of them to see the boys all dressed up nicely in their dress robes, looking at them coming down the staircase.

"Well, don't you girls lovely this evening." Theo said with his usual flirtatious smile.

"Of course we do." Daphne said confidently. Céline couldn't help the feeling of someone staring at her. Instinctively, she turned to look at Draco, as if she already knew who the staring was coming from.

She was right.

Draco was looking at her with a look that she couldn't quite understand, but the way his icy grey-blue eyes bore into her, sent a wave of tingles over her body. Then his eyes trialed down and stopped at the necklace. Céline could feel her face flush a little as she sees the fainted smirk appear on his face.

A voice brought her back to reality behind her. When she turned around it was a young Slytherin student that apparently stayed for the holiday.

"Céline, your boyfriend is waiting outside... something about the professors wanting the champions and their partners there earlier."said the young girl. Céline smiled at her and thanked her, before turning to her friends.
