After dinner Harry saw Céline walking with her friends down the hall. Since there was still a couple hours before curfew, he approached her.

"Céline," he called. They all turned around to see him standing behind them. "Can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Why?" Sneered Pansy.

Céline knew Pansy was still very upset about what happened to Draco and that she blamed it on Harry and Ron. Even though it was Draco's fault that he was turned into a ferret in the first place.

"I actually need to speak with Harry too, so I'll see you guys later." Céline said, which made Pansy scoff and walk away. Daphne and Tracey rolled their eyes at Pansy and followed her.

"What did you need to talk to me about?" Céline said as the two of them walked out of the entrance hall into the courtyard where Ron stood there leaning against the wall near the door with his arms crossed.

"Why did you bring her out here?" Ron huffed.

"Why are you upset with me?" Céline looked at him confused.

"You helped that git!" Snapped Ron. "After what he said about my mum!"

She could understand why Ron was so upset so she didn't want to raise her voice at him. "He's my friend. And I—" She said calmly.

"We're your friends too!" Ron cut her off. "How could you stand there and do nothing about it? Instead, you helped him to the hospital wing because you were so worried he would be in trouble." .

"Ron, she was trying to stop him though—" Harry stepped in.

"Of course, you're my friends. But so is he and he could've been hurt after what Professor Moody did." Céline started to feel herself become upset.

"The bloke deserved it." He spat angrily.

She looked at him surprised and then looked at Harry, who couldn't look at her because he agreed with Ron.

She sighed, " I don't believe anyone deserves to be changed into a ferret and bounced around like some sort of rag doll. I will not excuse his stupid and childish behavior, because I do not agree with it." She looked at Harry, "nor do I agree with you stooping down to his level, by insulting his mother back." she looked back at Ron who looked even more upset. "But if I had not stepped in when Malfoy aimed his wand at Harry, he would have been hit .So, yes, he does deserve punishment for doing that and saying those awful things about Mrs. Weasley, but to be changed into a ferret? No."

"Of course you still try to defend him. Bloody Slytherins always stick together in the end, don't they?" He sneered. Céline and Harry looked at him surprised at his words. Then, Céline's face changed into a hurt look.

"That... hurt Ron... I think we're done here.." She said quietly. She turned around to head back inside the entrance hall before stopping and she looked over her shoulder.

"For the record, I gave him an earful, for insulting your mother, because your mother is the kindest person I've ever met and she did not deserve that. I also yelled at him for being rude to my friends." She then walked back in, leaving them in silence.

Before she was able to go too far down the hall she heard someone call her name. When she turned she saw a very unamused Professor Snape look at her from the Entrance Hall.

"Miss Everhart, have you forgotten you're expected in the headmaster's office. You shouldn't keep him waiting any longer."

Her eyes widened, "I'm so sorry Professor!" She gasped. "I'll head there now."
