Céline is walking down the steps outside of the castle towards Hagrid's Hut with Daphne. She noticed that her class will be with Gryffindors. From what Daphne had told her, Slytherins and Gryffindors were absolute enemies. She thought they're rivalry was similar to Beauxbaton's Ombrelune and Bellefueille. She frowned for a moment when the thought of her time at her old school appeared in her mind. She shakes her head to rid herself of the memories, pushing them to the back of her mind.

Her Care of Magical Creatures Professor, Hagrid, led the students into the forest, which made Céline nervous. Since she remembered that the headmaster told them last night at dinner that the forest was forbidden to enter.

Some students spoke her thoughts aloud to Hagrid, and he smiled and reassured them that nothing can happen to them while he's around. Eventually leading them to a small clearing in the forest. He walked a little deeper to retrieve the creature for today's lesson.

Celine's conversation with Daphne was interrupted by Draco's interaction with Harry. "Yeah, really funny. This school has gone to the dogs. What until my father hears about Dumbledore's decision of making this big oaf into a professor." She saw him looking at Harry with disgust and arms crossed. Crabbe and Goyle smirking and snickering behind him.

"Shut up Malfoy." Harry strode up to him.

"Are you going to do something about Potter?" He challenged Harry. They glare at each other before Draco looks above them with a scared look on his face, quickly pointing and yelling, "Dementor! Dementor!" Making Harry whip around looking up in surprised horror.

Draco, Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy all flip the hood of their robes over their heads and mockingly start acting like dementors. While most of the slytherin students laughed at their taunting, Céline was not with her eyebrows furrowed.

Harry looked like he was ready to jump Draco before a girl with brown curly, slightly frizzy hair stopped him, pulling him away toward the redhead she saw at dinner.

"You think you're so hilarious." Céline mutters to herself while rolling her eyes. She thought she said it quietly enough for no one to hear, but it seemed like Draco overheard her. He snapped his head to her direction with a frown and walked over to her.

"You have something to say, Everhart?" He spat. He looked her up and down before looking directly into her eyes.

"Your actions were unnecessary and childish." She said to him without batting an eye. "Your arrogance is unbefitting." She shrugged, ignoring the gasps and shocked faces of everyone around her.

Draco's eyes looked around at anyone's faces in his vision, before he glowered at Céline. He was infuriated with her words and her attempts of humiliation. As he was about to tell her off, someone cleared their throat on the other side of the clearing. They all looked over to a smiling Hagrid holding a rope that was attached to an enormous winged feathered creature.

"Alright! Let us begin!" Said Hagrid.

The students all began to gather around Hagrid. Céline starts walking past Draco, curious to know about this creature before someone grabs her forearm. She looks back to see it was Draco as he leans in and whispers near her ear. "This is not over yet." He threatens, releasing his hold on her and walks into the crowd.

She managed to hide the shiver that ran down her spine. She sighed thinking that this was a terrible start of the year, with already having a couple people dislike her. It's not what she wanted, she wanted to get along with everyone. She wiped her sweaty palm on her robes, trying really hard to push back her memories of Beauxbaton that suddenly sprang into her mind again from Draco's threat.
