After dinner they all began to get up, unfortunately for Céline as she stood and climbed over the bench, her foot got caught. Causing her to stumble into someone behind her. The person grunted, but still managed to catch her to prevent her from falling to the floor. She quickly straightens herself and turns her body with wide eyes, feeling embarrassed.

Seeing that the person who caught her was the boy with the bright green eyes and glasses. She believed his name was Potter. If it's Potter, then this was likely Harry Potter. She had heard a lot about him through the Daily Prophet and her parents.

"Oh Merlin! I'm so sorry. I'm not used to these robes. Did I hurt you?"  Céline smiled awkwardly at him.

Harry looked at her surprised, he expected her to be rude since he saw the sorting hat place her in Slytherin. He mirrored her smile, "Oh, no you're alright—" he began, but was interrupted by Malfoy roughly yanking on Céline's upper arm.

"Did you just apologize?" He spat at her, his face filled with disgust. "To Potter no less?!" He glared angrily at Céline. "You're a Slytherin AND and Pureblood! You don't apologize to anyone. Especially a filthy half-blood."

Céline quickly is released from the shock of being manhandled by Malfoy and frowns at him. Yanking her arm out of his grasp, "Who are you to tell me who I can and can't speak with?"

"Excuse me?" He scowled at her.

"Would you like me to say it in French, so you understand?" She watched his expression morph from anger to stunned for a split second before returning to anger again. They stared angrily at each other and without looking at Harry she opened her mouth again.

"Sorry again..." she said sweetly before glancing over to him.

Seeming to understand her pause, "Harry Potter." He said with a small smile.

"Sorry again, Harry." She smiled at him. Sticking her hand out to him. "Céline Everhart, pleasure." She shook his hand ignoring the furious stare boring into the side of her face. "Well, have a good evening." Finally looking over Malfoy and rolling her eyes before walking past to try to catch up to the rest of the Slytherin students.

She followed the crowd down to the dungeons, still feeling eyes at the back of her head. She knew who it was and she chose to ignore it.

Céline wasn't someone who particularly likes confrontation or talking back to others. She would talk back if it came to mockery of others who were 'less than pure-blood'. She hated when someone would talk down to others. She grew up watching her parents do that all her life and hated it. She refused to become like that.

She wanted to be kind to everyone, regardless of their blood status or financial background. She pondered for a moment how she was even sorted into Slytherin with that kind of mindset. By the looks of it, it doesn't seem like they were particularly nice people, but then again, who is she to judge?

Once they walked into the Slytherin common room.  Céline looked around. It was a large dimly lit room of stone with emerald green decor. Three Black leather couches facing each other with a black wooden coffee table, in front of a large stone fireplace. The windows were large from the ceiling to the floor leaving a nook to sit on if you wanted to read, but instead of seeing the dark sky you saw the deep dark waters of the Black Lake. There were desks and chairs here and there around the common room as well as old tapestries of medieval Slytherins and paintings of silver snakes scattered around the walls of the room. A prefect came up to Céline to show her to her assigned room.

They walked up the grand staircase and headed down the hall to the right. They pass a few doors with silver plaques with numbers on them. Once they got to one of the doors that read '3' on a silver plaque, the prefect stopped and turned to Céline letting her know all her things had been brought to her room.
