The next morning, Céline woke up feeling much better, thanks to Draco giving her a potion the evening before. She looked at her hand and saw the words etched into her skin, but instead of being raw and inflamed, it was now healed into a pink silvery scar.
She got out of bed and got ready for breakfast with Daphne and Tracey. As they head to the common room, they meet up with Draco and Theo and head to the Great Hall together.
"I think I finally know what I want." Draco said to Céline as they sat down at the Slytherin table.
"Finally." She said, passing in his usual fruit while she grabs her toast and marmalade.
"Hey now, I needed proper time to think about it." He argued.
"So what have you decided?"
"I want a day of you saying yes to everything I tell you." He smirked. She looked at him unimpressed.
"That sounds more like giving me torment than giving you a reward." She said. "What if you make me do something stupid, or worse, have me be mean to my friends you don't like." She said looking at him suspiciously.
He thought for a moment still smirking, as if that wasn't a bad idea.
"No. Next." She said, "I know that look you make, and I'm not giving you any satisfaction of forcing me to be mean to Harry or anyone for that matter." She went in for a bite of her toast.
He leaned closer to her and whispered quietly, "oh? You know my faces well? Does that mean you've been watching me?" He teased.
Céline stopped mid bite and her cheeks turned pink. His grin widened a little, enjoying the reaction she gave.
"Then again I did catch you staring at me on the train." He said. Céline began coughing, choking on her toast. She reached for her juice, while Daphne patted her back.
"Cél, are you okay?" She asked, trying to help Céline with her cup. Daphne looked at Draco, slightly amused. "Malfoy, please stop messing with Céline."
"What did I do?" He shrugged feigning innocence.
Céline finally gained a little bit of composure after her coughing fit and looked at Draco, red in other face from both embarrassment and lack of air in her lungs. "For the record, I wasn't staring. You were."
"I won't deny it." He admitted, which only makes her blush more. She starts getting up from the table.
"I-I don't know what to do with you Draco." She stuttered, "you've been acting weird. More... I don't know." Flirty. She thought. She didn't know what to make of it. Somehow, when it was Theo or someone else who acts flirty, she laughs it off, but when it's Draco acting flirtatious, she becomes befuddled and bashful. She doesn't know what to do with herself.
Céline quickly walked away from the table. Daphne and Draco watched her go, before Daphne looked at her with a smirk. "I see what you're doing, Malfoy."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Draco said, looking at his apple as if it was the most interesting apple he'd ever seen.
"Of course you don't." She sighed. "All I'll say is, you better not let her get away again. She's good for you." She took a sip of her juice.
Draco paused. His lip twitched upward, feeling some form of content knowing one of her best friends approve of him. "I won't." He said taking another bite of his apple.
Céline made her way over to the Gryffindor table where she saw her three friends reading a split Daily Prophet newspaper. She read the paper from behind Hermione's shoulder.
