The next morning Céline got up a bit earlier to make sure she looked presentable in front of her parents. While being at Hogwarts, she enjoyed to keep her hair down, or tied in ponytails and messy buns. But seeing that her parents will be here for who knew how long, she felt like she needed to looked good. Her mother specifically, never liked how Céline kept her hair loose, and always wanted it kept in a braid or a bun.

She brushed her long hair and tied into a neat bun. Unhappy with it, she undid it and tried again. Céline did this a few times until she was satisfied that there was not a single hair out of place. She got into her school uniform and checked herself in the mirror multiple times before she forced herself out of the room in order to not be late.

She met the professors and Madame Maxime at the entrance of castle, and waited. Just like how Madame Maxime arrived, so did her parents. Except instead of large house sized carriage it was smaller and only pulled by two winged horses. They landed on the grounds and Céline hands instantly became clammy.

The door to the carriage opened and came out a beautiful woman with dark brown hair tied tightly into a bun, her face like Céline, only wearing a stern look on her face and  wore a dark blue robes. She held herself tall, with elegance.

The door of the carriage closed behind her.

"Professor Everhart, welcome to Hogwarts." Said Professor Dumbledore.

Céline's mother looked around the grounds and then to Dumbledore with a small smile. "Zank you, Dumbledore. My 'uzband will arrive later in ze week."

"Genevieve, your travels were well?" Said Madame Maxime, with a large smile.

"Oui, Olympe." Said Genevieve. She then greeted Professor McGonagall and then finally looked at Céline.

"Bonjour maman. Bienvenue à Hogwarts." Said Céline politely, holding her hands together in front of her, and not entirely looking directly at her mother, just looking straight ahead.  (Hello mother, welcome to Hogwarts.)

Her mother looked down at her from her nose, "bonjour enfant, j'espère que tu ne causes pas de problèmes à tes professeurs?" She said in a colder tone. (Hello daughter, I hope you're not causing any trouble for your professor?)

"Non, maman..." Céline said looking a down a bit. (No, mother...)

She said nothing and only eyed her daughter's appearance. And then looked back to Professor Dumbledore.

"I 'ope my daughter 'az been well behaved." She said to the professor in that polite tone again.

"But of course, Miss Everhart has been an exceptional addition to our school and has been excellent in her lessons" Said Dumbledore brightly.

"When I 'ave ze time, I would like to speak in more detail about my daughter's performance." She said, no even spare another glance at Céline.

"Of course, whenever you would like." Agreed Dumbledore. A moment after Hagrid came by to bring the winged horses and carriage over to the same area that the Beauxbatons carriage.

"Hi, Céline." Hagrid greeted Céline with a big smile, as he passed by her. Céline gave him a big smile.

"Hi Hagrid—" she heard her mother clear her throat and when she looked at her she had a stern look. Céline's smile fell and she looked down for a moment before giving Hagrid a small tight smile, "Good morning, Professor Hagrid."

Hagrid looked at her confused at her behavior and decided he wouldn't ask, until later.

They all entered the Great Hall for breakfast, where Professor Dumbledore told Céline that she could leave and join her table. Céline quickly turned away and walked towards the table where she saw her friends already sitting there. She sat down and let out a deep sigh, rubbing her temple.
