A month has passed since that rough first day of class. Draco and Céline are often found bickering with each other. He would make fun of her, saying she's not meant to be a Slytherin. Or yelling at her for being friendly to other students. Specifically non Pure-bloods. She wouldn't back down though, she often called him arrogant or childish. She would always fight back.

After finding out that his father really wasn't able to do anything to her family, because of her own fathers influence. She felt a bit of confidence in talking back to Draco.

But that confidence faltered a bit when she received a letter from her father, telling her to not embarrass the family with the childish squabbles she has with the Malfoy's son. She simply replied:

Dear father,

You told me to not let others look down on me. I am simply taking your advice.

Céline

The students were turning they're permission slips for they're Hogsmeade trip. It was a cloudy day and chilly, since they're going deeper into autumn. Many students were bundled up in sweaters and scarves.

Céline, because she grew up in France and attended Beauxbaton she had a very feminine fashion sense. Most of her casual attire consisted of skirts or dresses, only owning one or two pairs of trousers and tailored shorts.

For the Hogsmeade trip she decided to wear a white collared long sleeve under a thin black colored jumper that tucked into a brown plaid bodycon skirt that reaches mid thigh. She wore black nylons and some black leather boots. She decided to leave her dark brown long wavy hair down, cascading down to her waist.

She walked up to Professor Snape and turned in her permission slip. He took it with an eyebrow up and a frown, like usual. Céline turned to walk back to Daphne and Tracey.

The three girls became very close over the last month seeing they had a few things in common. Though they weren't like Céline, who always talked back to Draco or spoke to anyone outside of Slytherin, aside from a few Hufflepuff Pure-bloods, they still got along great.

Daphne did express to Céline one evening that she should be careful of being too nice to others. Only to be reassured by Céline that everyone has been kind to her in return. Daphne didn't like her trying to be friends with everyone in all the houses, but she also wasn't trying to get in her way to stop her.

Tracey, all though friends with Céline, never had long conversations with her like Daphne did. She would be nice and put her opinion in here and there. They would sometimes laugh and joke around and sometimes all the girls stayed up, even Pansy.

Céline wouldn't consider Pansy a friend, but the girls have definitely learned to tolerate each other a bit. They would argue still a few times a week. Especially if it had to do with Draco. But the toleration started a couple weeks after school started, when Céline helped Pansy study for a transfiguration test, since that was Céline's best class, seeing that her mother is a transfiguration professor at Beauxbaton.

"Let's go?" Daphne smiled at Céline walking up, "Well don't you look pretty?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

Céline smiled and looked down at herself. "This is normal attire for me outside of school." She said, hooking her arm with Daphne. "It was always important to keep up your appearance at Beauxbaton Academy, in school or not. They practically drill that into your brain while you're there."

"It must have not stuck very well into yours if that's what you're wearing." Draco snickered behind them as he passed by with Theodore and Blaise. Crabbe and Goyle behind them.

Céline looked over to him with a frown, "says the person who wears all black. All the time. It's like you're always attending a funeral. But I suppose that makes sense since you're dead inside."

Draco scowls at her, "You watch your mouth, Everhart."

"Or what Malfoy? Are you going to father? I thought you tried that already." She smiled. Since it looked like Draco was about to hex her, Theodore put his arm over his shoulder urging him to continue on.

"Come on, mate. Just ignore her and keep going. Get ourselves a butterbeer or two." Theodore said nonchalantly, pulling him forward. Draco only huffed and continued walking the path. Theodore looks over his shoulder to the girls with a smile and a wink.

"Cél... why do you keep pushing his buttons?" Daphne shook her head and sighed.

"It's not like I started it." Céline scoffed, "He's the one who constantly throws insults my way."

"Didnt you get a letter from your father, telling you to leave Malfoy alone the other day?" Tracey chimed in.

Céline pouted at them, "Father didn't say to leave Malfoy alone per say." Daphne and Tracey rolled their eyes.

"Come on, let's go to Honeydukes. And then let's go shopping for some Slytherin gear since there's a quidditch game coming up next week." Daphne said excitedly, practically skipping down the path hauling along the others.

After a couple of hours of relentless shopping the girls head down to The Three Broomsticks. There they find the place filled with students and in the far corner they see Pansy, Draco and the others.

Daphne and Céline walk up to the table, while Tracey offers to get drinks. "Hey boys!" Daphne beamed plopping down next to Theodore. Céline sits next to Daphne, which happens to be across from Draco.

"I'm guessing you had a successful shopping trip?" Theodore chuckled as he looked down there there's a couple of backs set on the ground next to the seat.

"Absolutely! A little bit of stress shopping is always successful." She grinned back at him.

"And what do you have to stress about, Greengrass." Draco raised an eyebrow in disbelief. Daphne always seemed like someone who doesn't get stressed about anything to Draco. Completely opposite of him.

"Oh not me, Malfoy." Daphne points to her bags, "this is just regular shopping for me. No, stress shopping for Cél, here."

Tracey comes over and sits in between Céline and Pansy, passing two of the drinks to her friends.

"You? Stressed? With what?" Draco scoffed.

"With you, Malfoy." Céline said casually as she sipped her butterbeer. Her eyes widened at the taste. "Wow! This is delicious!" She takes another sip.

"You mean to tell me you never tasted butterbeer before?" Tracey furrowed her eyebrows, trying to steer away from a sure argument with Draco for the first comment she made.

She shook her head and looked down at the drink with a small smile, "I'm not allowed a lot of things at home.."

"Ooooh, is that why you got so many chocolates from Honeydukes?" Daphne asked. Céline nodded to her, her smile widening at the thought of her new chocolate stash.

"The train here was the first time in a while since I've had sweets, I couldn't resist." Céline laughed.

Draco frowned at her. He didn't understand how she's never had butterbeer, his parents always had a supply at home. His parents always bought him the best chocolates there was, he thought it was normal to have in households like his and Everharts, since they were wealthy.

After a while at the Three Broomsticks, the girls went their separate ways from the boys since they wanted to go to a few stores before returning.
