The aquarium sat tucked between two taller buildings, its exterior washed in soft blue light that spilled gently onto the sidewalk.

The glass façade reflected the city behind you-streetlights, passing cars, distant silhouettes-but beyond it, you could already see faint shadows moving slowly, peacefully, like another world waiting just on the other side.

A glowing sign above the entrance read OPEN LATE, the letters dimmer than they would be during the day, almost subdued.

It felt intentional. Like the place itself knew it was meant to be quieter at this hour.

You slowed without realizing it.

"...Wow," you murmured.

Bakugo followed your gaze, eyes lifting to the glass façade and the soft blue light spilling out onto the sidewalk. He took it in quietly-the faint shadows drifting behind the panels, the gentle movement of water barely visible through the glass.

"...Tch," he muttered, but there was no bite to it. "Looks... fine."

You smiled. "You sound relieved."

"I am," he replied flatly. His eyes flicked toward the entrance, then the small cluster of people lingering near the ticket booth. "It's not packed."

"There's barely anyone here," you said, pleased. "Told you it's not so bad."

"Hmph." He shoved his hands into his pockets. "Still people," he muttered. "So yeah. Still bad."

You let out a small laugh at that, shaking your head. "Wow," you said lightly, glancing at him. "High standards."

Bakugo didn't look at you, but you caught the faint twitch at the corner of his mouth.

You stepped a little closer to him as you started walking again, voice quieter now.
