BAFANA MESULI MAJOLA

My woman seemed to be handling the news of our pregnancy pretty bad. I had to call her every hour to assure her that I'm happy about our little cub and that I was there for her. She mentioned how she was scared of letting her mother know because she would freak but I honestly thought that is a bit dramatic, I mean, Ntokozo is a grown woman so she's bound to have such life changing experiences in her life.

Ntokozo: "Please bring me some goat meat baby."

Me: "Okay sthandwa sami." I will not do that.

Ntokozo: "We miss you la."

Me: "I miss you guys too. I will be back soon baby yezwa?"

Ntokozo: "Okay." As I was talking to my woman, I noticed the annoying woman entering the yard, she was with a little girl. I quickly wrapped up the call with Ntokozo and went straight to that woman. She had to tell me what the hell is she doing here. Just before I could reach her, mom showed up and hugged her smiling.

Mom: "I'm glad that you made it Fathima." I stood next to them.

Woman: "I had to come friend, it has been so long!"

Mom: "And who is this little cutie?!" she asked taking the little girl in her arms and played with her cheeks. This Fathima woman winks at me since mom is not looking.

Fathima: "That's Lee-Ann's daughter. Lee-Ann is my sister's child." she says then glances at me. I frown, a Lee-Ann I know was Sqalo's fvckbuddy once.

Mom: "Ohhh."

Fathima: "Don't tell me this is Sqalo?!" she says pointing at me. This woman is a snake for real.

Mom: "Oh no, this is my other son, Fana. Sqalo is somewhere around this yard."

Fathima: "Oh okay. These kids grow up so fast man!"

Mom: "Yey! Fana, please take aunt to the tent bandla mkhulu?" she asked after giving the little girl to me.

Me: "Okay."

Mom: "Fathima, sis. I will be with you shortly." she says touching her shoulder and then walks away.

Me: "Follow me."

Fathima: "So how are you loverboy?"

Me: "..."

Fathima: "I heard that you are becoming a father, congratulations." I show her the vacant space so she can seat then hand her the sleeping toddler.

Me: "What exactly do you want?! Angithi you burnt my mom's hard work and sweat so what the hell do you want now?!" I ask after sitting next to her.

Fathima: "Oh that hospital wasn't your mom's hard work and sweat, she got it all easy!" she says rolling her eyes.

Fathima: "And I never burnt that hospital, I guess someone beat me to it." she says shrugging.

Me: "Why are you here?!"

Fathima: "Your mother is an old friend of mine. In fact she was my bestie back in Varsity. We bumped into each other weeks ago and she invited me."

Me: "Why did you come?!"

Fathima: "Hawu stepson, I'm honouring an old friend's invitation."

Me: "Why, when you know you don't wish well for her?! Why come here when you know you don't have her best interests in your heart?!"

Fathima: "Don't worry about that." I click my tongue and walk away.
