Honestly I don't know what to do with myself or with whatever that is happening. I wish I can just disappear with my kids. I think what's stressing me even more is the fact that Lizwilenkosi's ex-wife is alive. Fana and Bab'Nxumalo, told us that they didn't find her at that warehouse together with Jerry. They promised to find them though and honestly I don't care anymore. I'm also through scolding Fana about his shady friends.

Xoli: "Mah, your phone is ringing." she says handing it to me. We were quietly napping in my room. I couldn't bare staying in someone else's house so I had to access one of Lizwi's properties and move my kids there.

Me: "Hello?" I answer the phone.

Dr Gamede: "Mrs Majola, please avail yourself at the hospital. There has been some changes with your husband."

Me: "Oh?"

Dr Gamede: "I will be expecting you." I sigh and get up. I change into jeans, a tshirt and takkies.

Swe: "Can I come with you mah?!"

Me: "No baby, I'll be fine."  my kids are being babies, clinging on me all the time. It's kind of cute though. I grab my car keys and walk out.

Sqalo: "Uyaphi?!"

Me: "Excuse me?"

Sqalo: "Come, I'll drive you."

Me: "Yewena, i'm not your child!" Habe!

Sqalo: "Okay, asambe." he pesters taking the keys from me and walks out to my car.

Fana: "I'm also coming." And so everyone follows, including the rascals I left sleeping in my bed. I click my tongue and get in the car anyway. Sqalo drives to the hospital.

Sqalo: "Where's Iyana?"

Fana: "She is with Ntokozo."

When we arrive, I instruct them to wait by the benches while I ask the receptionist to call Dr Gamede for me. Shortly after, Dr Gamede emerges with a big smile on her face.

Dr Gamede: "Hello Mrs Majola and kids." They all respond annoying me further. Dr Gamede laughs when I frown.

Dr Gamede: "I guess the more, the merrier." she says chuckling and leads us to Lizwi's private ward. As soon as we enter the room, the kids all run to him making him laugh.

Me: "Thank you Dr Gamede." I smile faintly at her.

Dr Gamede: "I won't limit you guys to spend time with him, because I know how much you all have been yearning for him."

Me: "Ngiyabonga sisi." I lightly hug her. She then walks out.

Lizwi: "Are you going to stand there all day?!"

Sqalo: "She's jealous that we hugged you first. She didn't even want us to come with her here."

Lizwi: "Please stop upsetting my wife. Phumani, go and buy food." he says shooing them away.

Lizwi: "Woza baby." I walk to his bed slowly. I sit on the chair next to his bed. He frowns.

Me: "How are you feeling?"

Lizwi: "Letho?"

Me: "How are you feeling Lizwi?"

Lizwi: "Not good. Why aren't you happy to see me awake?!"

Me: "I am baby."

Lizwi: "Then why are sitting so far away from me?!" he asks opening his covers for me. I get in next to him and just melt into his arms. My breathing starts quickening before I burst into tears.

Lizwi: "I'm sorry I scared you baby." now, how do I tell him that I'm crying because of the lingering sadness and fear at the back of my mind.

Lizwi: "Talk to me."

Me: "I missed you baby, that's all." he nods and hugs me tightly. We continue cuddling, he keeps playing with my hair while I'm just rubbing his chest. The silence is comfortable but my mind is busy running different scenarios in it.

Lizwi: "Junior tells me that we are grandparents now." I chuckle.

Me: "Yeah, apparently Sqalo has a toddler. We only found out recently."

Lizwi: "I can't wait to meet her." I chuckle.

Me: "Nhlapho arrested Fathima." I blurt out unintentionally.

Lizwi: "Huh? Why?!"

Me: "Nevermind baby, we will talk about it once you have healed properly." he scoffs.

Lizwi: "Mmhm."

Me: "Do you remember anything about the day you were shot?"

Lizwi: "No." I know he is lying.

Me: "Aybo!"

Lizwi: "Sleep baby, they told me that you haven't been sleeping well and ngiyakubona mina." I pinch his hairy nipple. He squeals laughing.

Lizwi: "I'm serious baby, you should go do your hair manje."

Me: "Mxm! Nawe you should take a bath!" He laughs out loud.

Lizwi: "Mxm! I was in coma phela mina."

Me: "Don't come for me Lizwi." I tell him poking his bandage. He laughs again and winces.

Lizwi: "Wena awungithandi ngeke! Ungafa!"

Me: "Mxm!" I lean towards him and kiss him.
