Hayley's Point of View

I woke up the next morning because the bright lights suddenly turned on. I groaned and put my hands over my eyes. This wasn't real. It couldn't be real. I felt someone poking my shoulder, so I peaked out at them.

"Morning," Taylor said with a half smile. I groaned in reply. He laughed, and moved my hands away from my face.

"No, no..." I mumbled. I shut my eyes as tight as I could. Taylor pulled on my arm, and tried to get me to sit up. Once he got me in a sitting position, I opened my eyes. I had to squint from the bright lights.

"I'm gonna run to the bathroom. Please wake yourself up," he said. I noticed Jeremy coming out of a room, and then Taylor went into the room. I figured that must be the bathroom. Jeremy stood in front of me.

"What do you like for breakfast?" Jeremy asked. There was something off about him. I noticed it earlier, but dismissed it as him just being tired.

"Uh... yogurt," I said. It was quiet after that. I wanted Taylor to hurry up. After Taylor walked out, I went into the bathroom. I didn't know what I was expecting, but the bathroom was perfectly normal.

When I left the bathroom, there was a table full of breakfast foods. Taylor and Jeremy were already there, and there were some other people in white supervising.  I joined them at the table, and ate something small.

After we ate, one of the people in white took Taylor out of the room. I sat on the bed, and picked at my fingernails. What were we supposed to do while they had us locked in here?

Hours passed, and Taylor still wasn't back. I wasn't sure what was going on. Jeremy barely talked to me, and I was starting to feel hungry from boredom. There had to be something we could do. I was going to go insane sitting around.

The doors opened, and I thought Taylor would walk through. I stood up, but Taylor wasn't there. Instead, some doctor-looking person walked in. He grabbed my arm, and started walking back towards the door. I tried to pry his hand off, but I couldn't.

"Where are you taking me? Where's Taylor?" I asked. He didn't answer, but kept pulling me. I tried to dig my heels into the floor, but it wasn't working.

I was put into another room. It just had a chair and cart on wheels. He put me in the chair and used the straps to lock me in. I tried to move, but it was so tight that I couldn't.

He wheeled the cart out, and brought a different one in. It had an array of dangerous-looking weapons. I tried harder to get out. I had to get out.

"I've been looking for a long time for someone who can't die," he said. He looked over the weapons. He was trying to decide what to use first. I could just tell that this wasn't gonna go well. "This outta be a lot of fun."

He picked up a knife, and turned towards me. There was this big smile on his face, and it made me so uneasy.

"Where's Alex Gaskarth?" He asked. Was all of this just because they wanted to find Alex? Did they kidnap Taylor and Jeremy and me, just to try to find Alex?

"I don't know who that is," I said. He didn't think it was a good answer, cause he forced the knife into my side. I screamed, and tried to move, but I couldn't. I screamed again and it faded into heavy breathing.

"I have tons of evidence that you are in close contact with Alexander Gaskarth. Lying isn't gonna do you any good, Miss. Williams." He pulled the knife back out of my side, and put it on the cart. Every part of my body was screaming to cover the wound with my hands. I needed to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding, but I couldn't move.

"I don't know where he is. I chose to go to Texas, so he could be anywhere now," I said. My voice was so shaky, and my breathing was unsteady. "Why do you need Alex?"

"Oh, you'll never know," he said. He snapped his fingers and Rian and Jack came out. They took the straps off, and then each took one of my arms. I stumbled as my feet hit the ground again. They pulled me back up, which made my side hurt worse than it had before. I screamed, and tried to pull my arm away.

They made me walk, and they walked along side me. They pulled me across the entire building. We were back in the hospital part. We walked by a room, and inside I recognized someone.

"Taylor!" I yelled. I tried to get them to stop. I pulled myself back, but they kept pulling forward. I yelled for Taylor again, but he didn't move.

I was put in a room a few down from Taylor. They lifted me onto the bed, and a nurse came in. Jack and Rian stayed on either side of me. The nurse wrapped up my side, and then went to look for stuff in the cabinets.

She came back and stuck something in a vein in my arm. She turned, and I looked at the tube coming out of my arm. It quickly filled with red liquid, and drained into a bag.

Then I remembered what Alex said: "there is a theory that if you were to be drained of your blood, and someone drank it, they would become immortal, and you would die. That's why there are people after me."

"No," I mumbled. I tried to move my arm, but I already felt so weak. I moved my other arm, and tried to pull on the needle. Rian pulled my arm back. "No, no, no..."

I managed to convince them to let me have my phone. I told them I was going to text my parents, but I had to text Alex. They weren't really paying attention again. I put the recipient as my mom, but changed it to Alex just before I sent it. Hopefully he would be able to track it, and he'd come save me.
