A/N: I just wrote this last night so that's why it sucks.

Hayley ran to the street and got a taxi. She needed to get to the airport. She knew that if she could get there, she could get home. She called Tom after telling the driver where to go. She still had that untraceable flip phone that Alex had just given her.

"I'm on my way to the airport now," she said. They talked a little bit, but Hayley heard gunshots through the phone. "Tom?" She asked. Her heart was racing as she waited for an answer. "Tom!"

She ran into the airport. She didn't have any luggage to worry about. She just needed to get a ticket and get on the plane. She had kind of hoped she could go home to Tennessee. Part of her knew that she would absolutely never see her parents or younger brother again.

She stood in line to get the ticket, and couldn't keep her anxiety under control. The gunshots kept replaying in her head. She finally got to the front, and realized that she didn't know whether to go to her apartment or Tom's. Reims or London?

"Ma'am?" The lady behind the desk asked. Hayley leaned on the desk and asked which flight would be leaving first. She told her it would be the one to London, and that's what she got a ticket to. As she turned around, she saw Alex running in her direction. She quickly went around the corner and hid herself. She'd gotten this far, and she wasn't going back now. Tom needed her.

She rushed off to find her gate. She didn't even know when her flight was, but as long as she was away from Alex, she'd be okay. And that was something that she'd never thought would be true.

She sat in one of the chairs, and pulled her legs up to her chest. Her hand was gripping the small phone so hard. It was her only form of communication with Tom, and she wasn't going to let anyone else come in contact with it.

"Are you sure about this?" Tom asked. He was carrying her first box out of their room, and towards the door. She had decided to move to France, leaving him alone in London.

"Yes! It'll be a whole new experience," she said as she leaned against the back of his couch. He set the box down at the door, and walked over to stand in front of her. He put his hands on her hips, and rested his forehead against hers.

"How am I gonna get used to sleeping alone?" He pouted. She shrugged, and frowned at how sad he looked. She put her hands on his cheeks, and kissed him. Their kissing turned to making out. She moved one hand from his face to the top of the couch. She pulled herself up so she was sitting on the top. Tom moved as close as he could, and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He slowly lifted her up, spun around, and started for the bedroom.

Hayley came back to reality and realized she'd been staring out the window for a good twenty minutes. She checked the time that her flight was, and checked the actual time again. About half an hour until she could start boarding the plane. She tried calling Tom again.

"Tom, I'm really worried. I don't know what's safe to say and what isn't, so I'll just say that I love you," she said to his voicemail. She had no idea if he'd ever hear that message, but she wanted to hope for the best.

After a horribly long half hour, Hayley was boarding the plane. She walked down the ramp, heading towards the plane with no belongings. All she had was her outdated flip phone and the dirty clothes on her back.

As soon as the plane landed, she was out of it. She ran up the ramp, and out into the airport. She got some weird stares from people as she ran past them. She desperately waited on the side of the road for a cab. She didn't have time to take the bus, she needed to get to Tom's apartment.

She ran up the stairs, and tripped on some towards the top. She quickly recovered, and continued on. She ran down the hall until she finally reached his apartment. She knocked on the door, waited a couple seconds, and knocked some more. Doubt was filling her heart as she waited for the door to open.

She heard multiple locks being unlocked, and then the door swung open. She rushed inside, and hugged Tom as tight as she could. He pushed the door shut again, and wrapped his arms around her. He leaned his head on top of hers.

"Fucking thank Christ," he mumbled. They separated a little bit just to make sure they could both breathe properly. Tom locked all the locks again, and then the two went to sit on the couch.

"I heard a gunshot the last time we talked. Are you okay?" Hayley asked as she grabbed his arm. Tom leaned against the back of the couch.

"I was at your apartment, and these guys broke in. They shot at the door, and I managed to get out before they saw me. I didn't call you on the train back because I didn't want to risk any chance that they might be able to track it." He explained. Hayley knew it was her turn now, but she wasn't sure what had happened.

"Okay, um, I was on my way to work and Alex and Rian show up. They drugged me or something. I don't remember anything until I woke up hanging by my wrists. And that's foggy too," she told him. Tom's mouth was wide open and as he started to realize his actions, he shook his head.

"I don't know if I'm surprised or not," Tom said. "And those people that showed up at your apartment? Do you think they were sent by Alex?"

"No, Alex already had me at that point. I think they were looking for you," she admitted. She bit her lip as she waited for the question she knew was coming.

"He knows about me?" Tom asked. He wasn't necessarily angry, but he wasn't happy about it either.

"When I was still drugged up, and I didn't know where I was, I asked where you were. And Alex asked who you were and he wanted to know everything. He just knows you're Tom Gaskarth."

"At least my name is Thomas William. Hopefully I'll still be protected," he said with a sigh. Hayley leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry," she mumbled as she closed her eyes. She wrapped her arms around his torso.

"It's not your fault. He'd drugged you," Tom said. He wrapped his arms around her. They stopped talking, and Hayley almost fell asleep. She loved being in his arms, and she felt safe enough to sleep.
