A cruise ship owned by the Koenji family was in Tokyo Bay. The Koenji family is a well-known family with many assets, which have increased significantly since the beginning of the last decade.
Its current President at the head of the company and family knew which opportunity to take and refuse to reach the top of the society.
Often out of the city or even the country, President Koenji was back in Japan for a special occasion.
He's been summoned by the Kujou family, another powerful family in Japan with whom they have a strong bond.
The reason?
A few decades ago, when Koenji's family started getting into business, they agreed to an arranged marriage with a well-known family in Russia.
That's why many years ago, the cousin of the current President Koenji was sent to Russia for an arranged marriage with the Mikhailovna family.
This marriage was to solidify their family and ease the potential partnership for their future success.
That's how the male representative stayed in Japan and became the family's president, while the female representative was sent to Russia with the Mikhailovna.
However, the Mikhailovna also created another partnership with a well-known Japanese family that was already working with the Koenji.
It didn't create any problem since this particular family was the Kujou.
That's how an alliance between the Koenji at the head emerged with the Mikhailovna and the Kujou.
That's how President Koenji is at the head of this empire today. This is due to his great past partnerships and good decision-making skills, as well as those of the people before him.
Each family already started having the next generation ready to succeed them and continue to grow their empire.
President Koenji had high hopes and total trust in his future heir, Koenji Rokusuke.
Kujou's family, which was influenced by one branch of the Mikhailovna family, had two daughters. Kujou Alisa and Kujou Masha.

The main core of the Mikhailovna family was destroyed years ago by having most of the clan exterminated.
The only survivors were Mikhailovna from the secondary branch of the family, who came to Japan through an arranged marriage with the Kujou family.

A girl and daughter of the cousin of the current President Koenji, who's been welcomed into the Kujou family after running away from Russia.
