Without a doubt, the speech had been one of the most humiliating things Alex had ever done. He had thought nothing could be worse, yet here he was, standing before a laughing audience, completely powerless. To his surprise, Ember wasn't there. Did the girls know about their relationship? Did they realize the strength she gave him to push through these humiliations? The thought lingered for a moment before the sharp voice of the lady snapped him back to reality.
"Maybe, deep down, you two want to be girls too?" she mused, eyeing the two snickering boys in the crowd.
Alex clenched his fists. He had been forced into this against his will. He wouldn't wish this fate on anyone, not even those who laughed at him. "My lady, don't mind them," he said awkwardly, his voice forced and controlled.
"Oh, don't worry, Alexis. They won't be laughing at you again," the lady responded with an unsettling smirk. "Girls, give them some color as well."
Amy was all too happy to oblige, reaching for a tube of pink lipstick. With a practiced hand, she coated Max's lips before finishing with a glossy layer. Jade did the same to Roy, who recoiled slightly at the unfamiliar sensation. The entire class erupted in laughter, but Alex remained silent. For them, this was a joke—a funny little act of revenge. For him, this had been his daily life for weeks.
The lady seemed satisfied. "Girls, Alexis, come with me." She turned to Max and Roy. "And as for you two, don't think I'll forget this." Her words left them ashamed and quiet.
The ride back to the facility was silent, and Alex held on to a small sliver of hope that today's torment was over. But that hope was quickly crushed.
"Oh, girls," the lady said suddenly. "Aren't you all feeling thirsty?"
"I am, my lady," Stacey said sweetly, and the others nodded in agreement.
"Well then, Alexis, why don't you make us some tea?"
Alex swallowed his frustration and went to the kitchen. He boiled water and prepared the pink teapot, part of a matching set. Holding it carefully with both hands, he entered the dining room where the girls and the lady were seated.
"Alexis," the lady scolded. "That is no way for a lady to serve tea."
"I'm sorry, my lady," he replied quickly, unsure what he had done wrong this time.
"In one hand," she instructed firmly.
Alex hesitated but obeyed, struggling to balance the pot in his grip as he walked toward them on his heels.
"Alexis, you walk like an elephant," Stacey teased, laughing at his awkward movements. "More like a model."
Holding back his irritation, Alex did his best to glide with grace, setting the teapot down before them.
"Now, pour elegantly," Jade instructed with a smirk.
Alex complied, and for once, the girls seemed satisfied. But of course, it didn't end there.
"My shoes have gotten dirty from outside," the lady said, tapping her foot expectantly. "Come clean them."
Alex wanted to sigh but knew better. That would only earn him more punishment. Instead, he simply lowered himself to his knees. As he wiped away the dirt, the girls chattered excitedly around him.
"I'm so happy you liked the makeup I put on you, Alexis," Amy teased. "We could try more colors if you'd like."
Alex froze, looking up in horror. The lady's piercing gaze was on him, daring him to refuse.
"I would... love that," he forced out, barely managing to keep his voice steady.
"Maybe we could test the new lipsticks that just arrived?" Jade suggested enthusiastically.
"No, no, his makeup is fine," Stacey countered. "I think we should put him in different dresses instead."
The girls were ready to argue, but the lady raised a hand to silence them. "Girls, Alexis only has two hours left before the games. I know you all want her as your personal doll," she said, pausing for a moment.
Alex's heart leaped. Was she... was she going to spare him?
"So instead, Alexis should get us ready for the games. Would you be so kind as to make dinner like a proper maid?" she asked, her tone mocking.
"Yes, my lady," Alex answered, resigned.
"But not so fast. I don't want your beautiful maid outfit to get dirty. Put on the apron."
The girls giggled as Alex turned to see the final touch to his humiliation—a pink apron covered in heart shapes. He sighed internally but knew he had no choice. Slipping it on, he moved to the kitchen.
The ingredients were laid out for him; all he had to do was cut and cook. As he picked up the knife, a dark thought crossed his mind. What if...? No. Impossible. He'd never be fast enough, and any attempt would only get him punished. He exhaled, shaking off the thought. He was better than that.
Instead, he thought of Ember. She would tell him to stay strong, to endure. To focus on the future—the future they could share. The thought made him smile.
"Having fun cooking, mama?" Amy teased from the doorway.
"It's the peace and quiet I enjoy," Alex replied, masking his true thoughts. Truthfully, he didn't see cooking as a punishment, though he knew the girls assigned him this task just to amuse themselves—or maybe just to see him in the apron.
"Sure," Amy smirked. "I think you're just in love with your new look." She walked away grinning.
Once the food was ready, Alex carried the plates carefully, moving with practiced elegance as he served them.
"Alexis, tell us what we're eating tonight," the lady commanded.
"I made you all—"
"Ahem," she interrupted. "That sounds far too much like a boy. Higher, softer."
Alex swallowed. "I made you all spaghetti with red sauce," he said, forcing a feminine lilt into his voice.
The girls giggled, satisfied.
It wasnt just making food, even alex had that figured out, alex had to help the girls get ready for the games. " getting ready they dont even participate" alex mumbled. Yet there he was, like a proper maid he had to help the girls get pretty for watching the games. Alex was running errands, lipstick there, helping with decididing what to wear there and that all while walking like a model, gracefully move his arms and hands and of course talking with a high soft voice.
Finally, the lady walked in. "It's time. Alexis, go to the games."
Relief flooded Alex. At least now, for a while, he could focus on the competition rather than being corrected for every movement.
He stood among the boys, feeling completely out of place. As he caught his reflection in a mirror, the reality of it hit him like a punch to the gut. He didn't see himself anymore. He saw a girl—a maid, dressed up and humiliated beyond recognition.
The sign turned green. It was time.
"Welcome to the 152nd Sissy Games!" the voice announced. The crowd cheered. "Today, all the celebrations are over..."
The audience let out exaggerated, dramatic sighs.
"But we can still enjoy the beautiful looks of the loser of the birthday games!"
A spotlight beamed down on him, and the arena roared with laughter. His stomach twisted.
"As always, we begin with an obstacle course!"
Alex hadn't received any hints from Ember this time. He was on his own. The first contestant stepped forward, and the game was revealed. A series of oversized eyeshadow compacts formed the path ahead. Some were safe. Others weren't. The first player, Steve, hesitated, then jumped—only for the platform to collapse beneath him. He plunged into a pool of glittery shower gel below.
Alex exhaled. After two days of these ridiculous games, it almost felt good to see a more straightforward challenge. One by one, contestants went ahead, some making it, others falling.
Then, finally, it was his turn. He had watched carefully. He knew where the others had failed.
He took a breath—and jumped.
