Description

This will be the final part of the story. I hope you enjoy it.

Nino's POV:

As Alya walked away with tears in her eyes, I felt horrible. I had saved her life, and she had done what I hoped for; she had fallen for me. I had ruined things between us by pushing her away. Why had I done it? I  wanted her to love me. Yet, I was the one who hurt her.

I heard the sobs and saw her turn around in shame. I watched as she left the room and went into the hallway. I knew her folks would be home soon. I wish she could understand that I never meant to love her.  I longed to call her back to tell her how I felt.  How could I?  What would her father think?

I heard her sobs grow louder. I could not stand it. Not when I was the one who had done this to her. I  decided who cared what became of me or my father. I had to go to her.

I left the room and entered the hallway to the empty room upstairs. I saw her standing at the door.  I waited until she opened the door,  entering it behind her.

"Go away!  Have not you done enough already?" She yelled at me.

"I suppose I deserve that. listen Alya it is not your fault." I said.

"I don't understand at school, you called me your lady.  Do I mean nothing to you but a stupid job?" She blurted out.   I let her slap me.

I saw the horrified look in her eyes. I heard her start to cry all over again. "Please go." She spoke quieter this time. I held her close. I did not let go. I wiped her tears. I smiled at her.

"I should not be telling you this, but I might as well. I love you." I confessed. She shook her head. "You hate me," She protested. I lifted her chin.  Despite her protest, I could hear her gasp in surprise.  "There is no going back," I said. I leaned in and claimed her lips with mine. I heard her sigh. Soon, she kissed me in return. It was beautiful, the way we fit together.

I heard a car door slam and panicked. What would her father say?  I supposed there was only one way to find out. I pulled away. "Nino, wait, let me explain to father," She whispered.

"Explain, what love?" I asked. Alya grinned and held onto my arm. "Trust me, I have got this," She said.

The two of us went downstairs. Her father glared at us in shock. Her mother smiled. "Awe, aren't they adorable ?" She said.  Well, at least I know now her mother approved of us.  "Mr.Lahaffe, I will not have you fratizing with my daughter," Her father began. "Father, I do not have any idea what you mean. Nino and I love each other; it is as simple as that," She stated.

       I was shocked.

I was so proud of my girl.

      Alya's Perspective:

I told my father that Nino and I  love each other. I am still not sure he understood. He fussed and fumed. Then, he left the room and let his study door slam behind him. Oh, dear.

        Time skip!

Two months later, I had moved to a small apartment. Nino had paid for it for me. So sweet.  He and I agreed to wait until we were married to live together. We might as well keep some morale about it all.

The two of us remained in contact and went out on dates. We took things slowly. We only kissed occasionally.

          Time skip!

One year later, Nino asked me to marry him, and I said yes!  Father was not pleased. Mother was thrilled.

We arranged to be married in six months. No one thought we could pull it off, but we did.  Now, we are happily married, and life with him is all I thought it would be, if not more.

       Months later...

I finished high school and my first semester at college.  I am one of the few students who lives off campus and is already married. Most of the others are not even in a serious relationship.

I am working on a double major in graphic design and history with a minor in animation.  I know I will make myself proud. I know Nino is already proud of me.

"You know something," I said. "No, what, my lady?" He asked. "I am glad to have found you my hunk," I stated. He blushed. I laughed.

Tonight, after studying and working on a paper, it was time for some fun. Nino took me out for supper and a movie. After the movie, we returned to our place. Nino's father was in jail, but he assured me not to worry.  It was only a matter of time before he was out on parole, and besides, who needs the stress in my condition?

Six months later, the doctor confirmed my suspicions;  I was pregnant. I told Nino and he smiled. "Come here, you lovely wife and mother of my child," He said. He kissed my belly. I laughed.

        The end...
