A/N FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
I FEEL LIKE I'VE PROGRESSIVELY GOT WORSE AT WRITING SINCE THE BEGINNING AND EVEN WORSE AT TITLES
MY ONLY GOOD CHAPTER I'VE EVER POSTED IS TWO LINES PART TWO AND THAT WAS AGES AGO NOW
IT WAS LESS THEN A YEAR AGO BUT IT'S ACTUALLY BEEN 144 DAYS
A FEW DAYS AGO MY LITTLE BROTHER SAID TO ME - DO YOU REALLY CARE THAT MUCH ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT DATING HER BOYFRIEND LIKE SIR OFC I DO
Taylor's POV
The door slammed so hard the walls shook.
I stood in the middle of our living room, my chest heaving, eyes stinging, and hands clenched at my sides.
I couldn't believe him. I couldn't believe him.
Travis had never been the type to walk away in the middle of an argument. He was the kind of guy who wanted to talk things out, who hated leaving things unresolved.
But this time? He left. He actually left.
I swallowed the lump in my throat and wrapped my arms around myself.
It hadn't even been a huge fight. Just something stupid—one of those dumb little arguments that couples have when they're both exhausted and stressed and looking for someone to take it out on.
I barely even remembered how it started. Something about him not telling me he was going out with the guys after practice. Something about me not answering his texts fast enough. Something about schedules and priorities and how we both felt like we weren't getting enough time together.
It spiraled fast. Too fast.
And now, he was gone.
The worst part? I didn't want him to leave. I wanted him to turn around, take a deep breath, and fix this with me.
But he didn't.
And that hurt like hell.
Travis' POV
I was an idiot.
A massive, undeniable, world-class idiot.
Sitting in my truck, gripping the steering wheel so hard my knuckles turned white, I let out a long, frustrated breath.
I shouldn't have left.
I never left. That wasn't how we did things.
But tonight, something about the fight—the way we both snapped, the way she looked at me like I was the problem—made me react without thinking.
And now I was here, sitting in my truck like a dumbass, regretting every second of it.
I needed advice.
With a groan, I grabbed my phone and dialed Jason.
He picked up on the second ring. "If this is about fantasy football, I swear to—"
"I messed up."
Silence.
Then a sigh. "What'd you do?"
Before I could even start explaining, another voice came through the speaker.
"Travis Kelce, if you left Taylor in the middle of a fight, I swear to God—"
"Kylie?!" I winced. "Why are you on the line?"
"She's sitting next to me, dumbass," Jason grumbled.
"Damn right I am," Kylie snapped. "Now, spill. What happened?"
