we open on the Owl House where Hooty is writing to Lilith about the day he had starting with her letter to him on the topic of a previous letter that being his perceived lack of importance Lilith reassuring him of his importance as the house which leads into a flashback of that day.

Hooty: how's it going hoot house?

King: can you keep it down.

then King got frustrated from his cracking voice.

Hooty: looks like our little demon is becoming a de-man.

King: ugh why does that sound so wrong coming from you.

King's voice cracks again and leaves in frustration.

Hooty: teens huh mood changes like the wind.

Eda looks up from her newspaper freaking Hooty out as she is extremely sleep deprived.

Eda: i am freaking out Hooty Belos is planning something big and i am weaker than a newborn witchling if i wanna protect you guys i have to train to get strong, no rest!

y/n who was sitting next to Eda was very concerned.

y/n: honey losing sleep is causing you stress and when your stressed the Owl beast comes out, please at least take a nap to recharge a little.

Eda: i said no rest!

Eda then blows an airhorn to keep herself awake and walks away.

Luz: can you please be quiet your scaring the echo mouse and if he's not happy i'll never make my way into Jacks heart, i mean make a portal back home, uh we have to go.

and Luz then walks to her room.

Hooty: "you were right Lulu these three needed my help so i concocted the plan of plans".

Hooty put on a wicked grin and was just staring......right at y/n.

y/n: Hooty enough of the staring what do you want.

Hooty: you think you can help me with a little plan of mine.

y/n: you want to help those three don't you.

Hooty: yep.

y/n: well i might regret this, i'll help you.

Hooty: really?

y/n: but you are only getting Eda and King i'll handle Luz.

Hooty: deal.

Hooty started off with King it did not end well but King discovered he has an ability an echo blast but then Hooty moved on to Eda.

Hooty: "things got a little messy with King but i wasn't about to give up yet, what Eda said confused me how could she get stronger if she was bone tired and maybe i was being a nervous nelly but i couldn't shake the fear of the Owl beast coming out".

Eda was walking in the hallway still with the clothespins holding her eyes open.

Eda: me? sleep? Ha! not until i can call myself the most powerful witch on the boiling isles once again!

Eda noticed a plate with cookies shaped like Hooty's face.

Eda: "a reward for all your hard work love Hooty"? hm not a bad idea i could use the fuel.

Eda takes a few bites out of a cookie and really likes it.

Eda: dang owl boy can cook.

but then Eda notices the sparkles on it.

Eda: sleeping nettles.

Hooty emerges from the floor.

Hooty: yep one bite can put you to sleep for hours.
