we open on Dan running through the forest towards Hexside, he was given the task of seeing to his friends safety by his uncle y/n and right now is absolutely hoofing it.

Dan: hopefully i can get there before Belos's goons and inform them of what's going to happen on the day of unity.

Dan then gets to Hexside and runs inside when he hears an announcement calling all students to the gymnasium.

Dan: that can't be good.

Dan then runs to the gym when he sees a familiar but different face.

he sees the face of Adrian Grey but he looks different than his portait here he looks humble, dashing and not fey and arrogant.

Dan: that can't be Adrian.

then "Adrian" revealed that Belos wanted the students here in a coven before the day of unity but Dan already figured that out given what he knew.

then "Adrian" was going to put fake sigils on them but Dan saw right through it but just before he could step up Gus spotted it and dispelled the illusion revealing the coven captain wearing a branding glove.

then with the actual Adrian's voice voice ringing out in frustration revealed coven scouts made invisible by illusions.

Dan: good job Gus.

then it revealed the actual Adrian sitting in a directors chair holding a cup of coffee.

Adrian: alright couple of notes tom that Adrian illusion was lacking a certain hmph you get me, severine that was really poor work your on thin ice, and captain that last read of your line was mm.

captain: i don't get it.

Adrian: you'll figure it out.

then Adrian grabbed Gus's arm.

Adrian: and you, you ruined any chance of making this something.

Gus: you were gonna trick us into getting sigils.

Adrian: uh yea i work for Belos kinda my job but lets make sure you can never use your little illusion tricks again.

the sigil on the glove changed to abomination meaning Adrian was going to seal away his potential Gus's eyes then turned blue due to stress and covered the whole school in a evershifting illusion.

then Dan blasted the branding glove off of Adrians hand and ran with Gus to another part of the school with Hunter following them.

Dan, Gus and Hunter were running through the illusion trying to get as far away from Adrian and his goons as possible but he stopped before they hit lockers.

Hunter: why did we stop?

Dan: cause there is lockers right in front of us.

Hunter confused touched the wall and was surprised to see Dan was right surprising Gus as well.

Gus: wait Dan you can see through illusions?

Dan: yea my eyes allow me to see through illusions it was something i worked really hard to achieve, Gus can you see anything?

Gus: im kinda half and half here.

Dan: well then you two just follow my lead we are going to find Amity and Willow and then we are booking it then i'll tell you what the day of unity really is.

they nod and follow him.

Gus: Hunter why did you help us back there Dan i know why he would save me but why you?

Hunter: i owed you for the food.

Gus: when we met you were trying to force me into a coven, now your helping me stay out of one because of a sandwich.
