we open on the ship where King is having a dream taking place in the in-between world that Luz accessed through her portal door where he briefly gained the attention of the collector before being woken up when they are near the isles.

Jack, Luz, King and Hooty make it off the ship when Luz gets a message from Amity.

Luz: "mom took pensta but we're safe will contact" well that's good to know at least.

Jack: yea who knows what could have happened here while we were gone.

Hooty: hey look they missed us so much they put up pretty posters.

he said as he saw wanted posters of them alongside Eda, y/n, Alastair and Lilith.

Luz: lets take the long way home.

Jack: roger that.

we cut to the forest near the Owl House where they hear people talking and used glyphs to hide where ultima soldiers were carting off all they could grab to the precinct.

when they became visible they were confused.

King: who the heck are those guys!?

Luz: i don't know but they are bad news.

Jack: agreed let's find mom and dad and aunt Lilith and get out of here.

they went inside the Owl House which was dilapidated and ruined.

King: you think they were arrested?

Jack: i doubt it we would've heard of if by now.

Luz picked up a piece of paper and put a light orb behind it showing the word help pointing at a knee.

Luz: no their hiding out on the knee.

with Eda.

the sisters and brothers each sat in a makeshift hideout with all the stuff they managed to take when they abandoned the Owl House preemptively Alastair was looking over inventory while y/n looking after his infant children Marcus, Morgan and Alice while Lilith was making plans and Eda just sat on a couch.

Lilith: using my old keys we'll travel using the service tunnels from there we initiate the security system and trap everyone in their boom day of unity stopped.

y/n: one problem with that Lilith they almost certainly changed the locks when you got booted.

Eda: what he said.

Lilith: at least i'm coming up with ideas.

y/n: we don't have enough info to even come up with an idea other than the two possibilities i listed and they are both not ideal and have very good chances of failing our goals.

Eda: and i came up with some pretty great ideas.

Lilith: putting glue in the emperors shampoo bottle isn't going to save anyone's life, this is just like you, you don't take things seriously at least Luz, Jack and King are safe and far away.

they then hear the snapping of rope.

Eda: someone set off one of our traps.

they go outside and see Luz, Jack, King and Hooty trapped in a net.

after they got them out of the net.

Luz: it took a while to figure out which town you were in on the map you made we had to keep off the streets with all those posters that's when we saw your hex mix trail and you know the rest.

Eda: what map are you talking about?

Luz: this one.

Luz took out the paper which showed here where they are.
