Eda's Lover

How They Met.

we open on a beautiful evening in The Owl house where Eda was cooking dinner since y/n was outside in the woods looking for ingredients.

Eda decided to cook up some ribs for dinner using what equivalents she had to make them thankfully she did not have to find an equivalent to BBQ sauce as she had plenty from her many trips to the human realm.

Luz was sitting there thinking on something that didn't really come to mind until recently she and King didn't really know that much about y/n this only came to mind after Eda had told them of how her and Raine met.

so Luz decided to ask Eda.

Luz: Eda i've been wondering how did you and y/n meet?

Eda: funny you mention that cause i'm telling you now.

flashback.

Eda: "it was a long time ago and i had just started dating Raine at that time".

in the flashback we see a much younger Raine and Eda who looked to be in the prime of their lives walking together at night.

Eda: "we were walking together towards the forest to get ingredients".

Luz: "for a potion?"

Eda: "no a finish for my mandolin".

Eda: "we had actually got what we needed until me and Raine heard something loud and violent".

the couple turned their heads when they heard a violent crashing sound coming from the woods.

Eda: you hear that?

Raine: i did and i think that is a good sign to leave.

Eda: and leave that loot behind, no way.

Raine: is there any way stop you?

Eda: no.

Raine: then i guess i'm going with you.

Eda: darn right you are.

Eda: "we ran to where the sound came from and saw what we thought was a crashed metal beast".

they ran to the sounds origin and found a crashed APC.

Eda: "i thought we found a bunch of loot at that thing and we did but we didn't know there was someone else there".

Eda's eyes lit up at all the loot she could sell from this thing but just as she turned her back towards the APC someone snuck up behind her and put a gun to her head.

it was y/n in full black tactical gear his face hidden by a gas mask bleeding heavily from his abdomen due to a large metal shard sticking into it.

Eda: "some guy in odd clothes put a gun to my head as soon as my back faced the thing, and as you can probably tell this guy was y/n and that was our first ever interaction, him putting a gun to my head threatening to blow my brains out if Raine did anything".

Luz: "how did you two go from that to married!?"

Eda: "that is a much longer and separate story from the one i'm telling you now".

Eda: "luckily as terrifying as that was it was short and y/n fell unconscious from blood loss".

just as y/n made Eda his hostage he fell down unconscious due to blood loss and adrenaline wearing off.

Eda: "after that i initially thought of running for it but then i decided to take him back home with me and let him recover".

Eda: "and before you ask why i would do that it's because he looked scared and was running from something and that hit close to home for me so i took him home despite Raines protest over it".

Raine: are you serious your bringing him home with you after all that!?

Eda: yea i am this poor schmuck is from the human realm and is gravely injured in a place that's alien to him how do you think he would respond to two strangers that are not human looking for loot.

Raine was about to retort but couldn't think of anything so they let the matter go and let Eda do what she wanted.

Eda: "after that i took him home and patched him up and healed what i could, the rest he would have to recover from on his own".

y/n awoke in a bed covered only by bandages and his underwear just getting up was agony but whoever patched him up did a good job, he walked out of the room to get a feel of where he was.

Eda: good your awake.

y/n quickly turned to Eda in surprise but aggravated his injury and was now clutching where it was.

Eda: easy there i did what i could but for the rest your gonna have to take it easy.

Eda then guided y/n back to the room she put him in.

Eda: oh by the way my names Eda and your would be?

y/n just stares at her, analyzing her wondering what Eda's game was.

Eda: not much of a talker are you.

y/n was still silent.

Eda: if you need anything just holler.

Eda left the room leaving y/n to his thoughts wondering why Eda didn't just kill him or flee from him while he was out.

y/n then noticed his two handguns Ebony and Ivory on the top of a dresser along with a drink left by Eda.

just as he was about to try the drink he heard Eda scream from downstairs.

Eda: "y/n woke up after a bit but he wasn't all that talkative i left his guns and a drink on the dresser in his room but when i went downstairs three coven scouts kicked down the door, they got me to the ground before i could do anything and put me in cuffs and were ready to ship me off to the conformatorium, at least they would have if y/n didn't come down and saved me".

y/n grabbed his gun and walked downstairs to see Eda pinned down by three coven scouts and briefly thought of just letting them take Eda so he can avoid a confrontation, something him convinced him to intervene and so he did by shooting two coven scouts in the face and aiming at the third threateningly.

the coven scout just hightailed it away from the Owl House.

Luz: "they ran just like that?"

Eda: "yea the boiling isles has never heard of a gun until y/n came along and even after they still have no understanding of it, so to that scout some guy pointed a metal stick at his coworkers and they dropped dead"

Eda: "after that he opened up a little i learned his name what guns were and the like and well we became friends fast and that day changed my life forever and for the better".

Eda got up off the ground and dusted her dress off.

y/n: my name is y/n thank you for patching me up.

Eda: thank you for saving me though if i may ask why?

y/n: well you could say they made it personal.

flashback end.

Luz: that was awesome!

Eda: hell yea it was, and if i had to rate them.

Eda looked out the window and saw y/n return from his trip in the woods.

Eda: that day would be one of the best in my life.
