each of the coven heads put each of their badges into the circular shapes in the brazier showing a vision of the human realm and demon realm merged together likely with them in charge.

Belos: the larger your covens grow the more power we have to unite our realms where the worthy shall inherit a utopia free of wild magic.

Belos then starts doubling over in pain and the Golden Guard escorts him to his throne room and when they get to the throne room Belos undergoes a curse like transformation and starts punching the wall until he gets control back and puts his mask back on.

Belos then takes a palisman and breaks it consuming it's essence.

Belos: i need more.

Golden Guard: that was the last from our reserves the palistrom wood has been overharvested.

Golden Guard: uncle let me help we can make more palisman, actually i read about this technique harnessing wild magic, uh sorry.

Belos: please be careful our family is gone because of wild magic i can't let the same happen to you, find me more palisman i can depend on you right?

and all the while Kikimora was eavesdropping on the conversation from behind the door. 

at the Owl House Luz was checking up on the echo mouse she got from the Bonesborough library which ate the journal of Philip Wittebane when Amity took her there to find it.

Luz: oh echo mouse you ate the diary that can get me home, can't you cough up a teeny bit?

King: why don't you just squeeze it out.

King then squeezed the stuffed bear so hard it's head popped off.

Luz: maybe i just have to be patient.

she then pressed her face to the glass.

Luz: tell me your secrets.

Eda then comes in wearing a suit coat.

Eda: hey knucklehead your gonna be late for school.

Luz didn't respond.

Eda: ok i guess you won't be getting a magic staff with your classmates.

Luz then rushed to the door in a blur anxious to get her staff.

Eda: there we go.

Luz, Jack, Gus and Willow alongside other students of Hexside were in the grudgby field where there was a nest.

Luz: shouldn't Amity be here?

Willow: sorry Luz i heard she stayed home today.

Luz: that makes sense.

Jack chuckles a little knowing Amity and Dan were basically using this time to spend time together, how does he know because his cousin also decided to stay home today.
