we open where we left off last chapter at the foot of the Noceda residence in the human realm.

Luz: hey mom i'm back.

and so mother and daughter hugged happy to see each other again.

y/n coughed not wanting to interrupt the sweet moment but something had to be said.

Camila: oh right you brought company, please come in.

and with that they entered the house and finally got to rest their feet which was aching from all the walking and running they had to do.

Camila: so is anyone going to tell me what's going on or what happened?

Eda: depends how much time do you have?

Camila: as much as you need.

and so Luz, y/n, Eda and everybody else explained everything up to the point they came here although some minor details were left out mostly by Luz and Hunter.

Camila: so you all made a plan to defeat this Belos and it went awry then he was defeated by this new villain the Collector? who moved the moon out of the way of the sun saving the boiling isles a archipelago made by some dead giant thing am i getting this right?

y/n: you sound unconvinced.

Camila: it's not that i'm just trying to wrap my head around all this.

Alastair: believe us when we say we're still trying to do the same thing.

Lilith: so will you let us stay until we can get back home?

Camila: after everything you all did for Luz your welcome to stay anytime.

y/n: pardon me for saying this but i think your house is too small to hold all of us.

y/n says mostly referring to his family.

Camila thinks about this for a bit.

Camila: maybe you could make use of that old house for the time being the one in the woods.

y/n: that could work if we can repair and refurbish it even if a little bit.

Eda: i don't see a better idea aside from trying to cram us all in this place.

y/n: i guess me and my family will use the old house while the rest stay here.

 Camila: yes but you can do that tomorrow at least stay here for the night.

and with that Camila showed them to their rooms, y/n and Eda were in a guest room and the little ones were in a crib across from it the two hadn't been able to get to sleep yet.

Eda: this is a pretty bad situation isn't it.

y/n: yeah.

Eda: you think King is ok or that we'll ever get back home.

y/n: i am certain King is just fine and we will get back to the boiling isles cause staying here permanently i will not allow.

y/n: lets just get some sleep hon it's been a long day.

and with that they enter slumber.

we cut to the next day and the Clawthorne family appear in front of the old house with tools in their hands.

y/n: well lets get started.

and they begin to work repairing the house into a presentable state all the while none notice something flying overhead looking at them.
