we open on King in the in between realm where he briefly eavesdropped on a conversation between the Collector and Belos and woke up after getting the collectors attention.

the atmosphere on the airship was tense as they were making their way to where Luz and Jack would be and quickly devolved into a spat as they got frustrated with how slow they were going with the exceptions being King who was sleeping Willow cause she was above all that and Dan cause he was too busy thinking.

King: their going to face Belos alone and i'm powerless to help them we can't even manage to help each other.

and with a word her palisman Clover talks to the other palisman who bring over food to the ones arguing and they calmed down after getting something to eat and de-stressing.

Willow: there's always a way to help you just have to look for the right opportunity.

King: thanks Willow i'll remember that.

we cut to the arena where the spell is to be cast with everyone in segmented sections for each of the nine covens and Belos walks up to the top of the pedestal.

the coven heads start walking out of tunnels onto the pedestal.

Eda and Lilith became visible after the coven heads were out of the tunnel.

Eda: wooo, that last stretch was a long one.

Raine: hey pay attention the other coven heads think their going to be royalty after today and they'll do anything to make that happen, the cloaking stone won't cover your voice so make sure not to speak also-.

Eda: the curse will do it's thing i got this Rainestorm don't worry.

Raine: don't, don't tell me not to worry.

Lilith: oh Edalyn please be careful if you need help just flap your arms.

Hooty: or scream real loud.

Eda: don't worry Lily with this spell declared i promise i'll be back.

Lilith: that's not a spell it doesn't even rhyme.

and the three hug for what may be the final time and then Eda turn to y/n who was standing there silently the whole time mentally preparing himself.

Eda: hon please come back safe.

y/n nods and the two embrace and kiss hoping this will not the be the final time.

Eda steps out disguised as Raine and looks back to her family and friend and winks and walks up.

y/n moves back and presses his earpiece.

y/n: are the three of you ready?

James: roger.

Charles: affirmative.

Mary: just say the word and i'll put one between all their eyes.

y/n: control yourself Mary, James you ready with the explosives?

James: yep just gotta sync them up with the detonator then that portal door won't know what hit it.

y/n: Charles you got them?

Charles: don't worry their fine.

y/n: good and remember only go for plan b if plan a is a snafu.

y/n puts his finger off his earpiece and slaps the invisibility glyph on him and walks off to portal room.
