it was another day in the boiling isles in the owl house Eda was holding some cards playing a game with owlbert.

Eda: watch closely Luz Hexes Hold'em is the most tricky game on the boiling isles any proper witch knows how to play.

Eda: no completely different but hubby taught me to play that too.

the cards then come to life with fanged maws and were trying to bite the other cards.

Eda: but when you think the deck is stacked against you that's when you break out the wildcard.

Eda brings up said wildcard decimating owlberts deck.

Jack: we need more elixir's!

Jack just came down with the curse progressing on him as well.

they run up to Eda and y/n's bedroom to look in the box where she kept her elixir stock Eda opened the box but saw only glass vials.

Eda: hoo boy this is terrible I'm out of elixir.

Luz: last time that happened you both turned into these.

Luz showed Eda and Jack their owl beast forms which Eda and Jack were both taking well.

Eda: i know i should be repulsed but that look is fierce.

Eda: your right, your right we need to go to the market.

King: im stealing everything that's not nailed down!

Eda: before we go anyone want to play another game of Hexes hold'em?

Eda pads around for her cards but cant find them.

Eda: hey where my cards.

Luz had them behind her back while owlbert flies to her.

Luz: take these and fly ahead she'll have to follow us.

y/n: got that from Jack did ya?

Luz: yep.

owlbert then flies off with Eda close behind.

Eda: owlbert you sore loser give me back my cards!

the gang then went into the market district of bonesborough to Eda's elixir guy.

Eda: hey open up Morton!

Morton: just a minute!

King goes to where Luz is sitting.

Luz: is there anything better than people watching in the demon realm?

they observe the equivalent of bus travel in the demon realm which is a giant egg and still some people miss it just as they got there like the theorist.
