I Was a Teenage Abomination

it was a beautiful day on a beach with the gang.

Eda: well Luz did you think you would ever see something as breath taking as this?

it turns out there was a dead worm carcass on the beach and said carcass was surrounded by trash.

Luz was less than thrilled.

Luz: i don't like this.

Eda: yea it doesn't get more inspiring than the trash slug making a home out of what is left by the wayside till BAM a wave hits it and it croaks form all the salt and then we get to sell this stuff at 8:00.

and grabs a pickaxe gesturing for Luz to do it.

Luz: please don't make me.

King: come on Luz its not everyday you go to the dump to pick apart a garbage carcass.

Eda: eh nuts to you both.

and Eda starts swinging at the teeth to get access to the slugs insides.

y/n: yea i don't blame ya Luz the first time i saw these i almost hurled but Eda got me round to it besides lots of useful stuff can be found inside that things insides.

and y/n then goes to help his wife with breaking the teeth.

Luz: so Eda how about we do something different like go over spells mixing potions.

Eda: eh that sound like a bunch of magic school stuff.

Luz: wait magic school? like spires, cute uniforms, dark plots that kind of magic school?

Eda: yea but what's worse is they also make you learn magic the "proper way". because there is no proper way for magic it's wild and unpredictable and that is what make it so beautiful.

y/n: like you honey.

Eda: you never miss an opportunity to make a clever use of words hon.

y/n: guilty as charged

Eda: besides look at me i never finished school. who wouldn't envy where i am right now.

Eda sees how she is losing Luz and goes over to her.

Eda: hey here is a lesson witches are resourceful.

Eda takes Luz's hand and has her root around in slime to find something and Luz gets something.

Luz: oh look a greasy slime ball.

Eda: use your slime ball wisely young witch. now lets hit the stink nodes first.

Luz: actually im going home to look at animals that aren't dead.

and before she leaves Luz gives King a belly rub.

Eda: more for us then.

and Eda and y/n start digging through the corpse tossing anything they can find out.

with Luz.

Luz: if magic is digging for slime balls maybe i don't have the stomach for it.

???: you can do it! you can!

Luz: mysterious voice of encouragement?

Luz then looks around and finds a little witch girl sitting on a rock.

Luz: little witch girl!

Willow: even if you get a bad grade it's not a reflection of your abilities as a witch and your parents are right there are better opportunities on this track. now get to school!
