The school dance was coming up and you were flipping out. You had a major crush on your best friend, Patrick, and dreamed that he would ask you to the dance, but that only happens in fairytales, right?
You yawn and get up to turn off the alarm. You look at the date. Ugh, two days before the dance and you don't have a date to it. You sigh and throw on a Y/F/B shirt and some black skinny jeans. You lace up your Converse and go outside to wait for Patrick to pick you up for school.
You and Patrick cut up and listen to music the whole way to school. He pulls in the parking lot and parks. He then turns the radio down. "Y/N, I was wondering something..and you're probably gonna hate me for this..but I've liked you for a while now...so um..will you go to the dance with me?" You smile and nod, almost in tears, and then you hug him tightly. "YES!" Your dream came true. Maybe fairytales do exist. :)
