It's 5 PM and no text from Pete. You hear a knock at the door. You sigh and open it, hoping it's Pete. Nope, it's Brendon. You look up at him. "What do you want Brendon?" "Woah now, I just came to check on you. No need for aggression. He lets himself in and sits on the couch, motioning for you to sit beside him. You sit down and stare at the floor. "Look Brendon I'm sorry, I'm just-" You burst out in tears. He pulls you close and holds you. "Shhh..It's gonna be okay Y/N." You sniffle and look up at him. "He hasn't texted me all day." Brendon brushes your hair back and wipes your face with his shirt. "I'm sure he will. Just calm down babe." BABE?! WTF BRENDON!! "Babe?!" You question him. He puts his finger to your lips. "Shh..just shut up and kiss me." He quickly leans in, but you slap him, hard. "Get off of me you pervert!" You hear laughing in the background, and in strolls Pete. He gives Brendon a slap on the back. "Thanks Brenny." "Anytime Petey." He jokes as he gets up and walks to the door. "My work here is done." He then leaves. "What the fuck Pete?!" You scream. "Calm down baby it was a prank." Pete smiles as he sits beside you. You sigh and look down. "You realize I'm upset with you now." "So I'm guessing you don't want this." You look up and see a beautiful engagement ring. You gasp, but conceal your smile. "Well we'll have to talk about that." He laughs and slides it on. He then kisses you, gently at first, but then it gets deeper. He pushes you down and then gets on top of you. He begins kissing your neck. "WOAH WOAH HOLY SHIT I JUST CAME TO GET MY PHONE WHAT DID I WALK INTO?!" Brendon yells, grabbing his phone and running out. You look at Pete and giggle. The day you have dreamed of has finally came. <3
