SUMMARY: Tensions have boiled over. Who will restore the peace?

NOTES: Used a lot of S2 CANON dialog from day 21, but added some fun lad's day scenes. Some of the new scenes are from the actual UK Love Island TV show.

Narrator, Iain Stirling (Voiceover):

Previously on Love Island...

The girls went to a spa day, and the drama got hot!

Chelsea: So obviously, I'm Baby Spice, and Hope is obviously Posh...

Oops, that wasn't the right bit. Ahem...

Once more, the drama got hot!

Jo: It's normal to kiss on a date!

Chelsea: Wow, so it really did happen!

Iain Stirling:

The girls on tour get it all out in the open.

Shannon: Fancy zipping your mouth for a few seconds so that I can actually say my piece?

Hope: Let's keep it civil, ladies.

Lottie: Is there any more Bombay mix?

Iain Stirling:

Things are about to get spicy...

Cabana Club: Terraced Pool

All the girls have gathered around the beach bar's beautiful outdoor pool. The mid-afternoon sun is hot and bright, but there's a somber vibe.

Hope perched gracefully on her lounger. "I know you think it got a little tense earlier, so let's just take a minute to calm down," she said, glancing at each of the girls with a steady gaze. "Once we're all calmed down, I think we can talk out some of our issues, like adults, OK?"

Elisa shimmies up next to you and whispers in your ear. "I feel like we're in detention!" Before you could respond, she chirped in a sing-song tone, "Yes, Miss Hope!"

Hope said, shaking her head lightly, "I want to thank all of my girls for agreeing to sit for a bit and enjoy this beautiful day together. We've had our ups and our downs here, and some of us are better friends than others, but..." She paused, exhaling.

"Absolutely," Chelsea chimed brightly, gesturing to the glass pitcher of sangria. "And we're all kind of like this pitcher of sangria, you know?"

Hope arched an eyebrow, seemingly curious. "How's that, babes?"

Elisa quipped under her breath with a playful side-eye, "About to be empty?"

You nudged her and whispered, "Shh!"

Chelsea holds up the pitcher of sangria and swishes it gently in the sunlight. "Honestly, sangria is, like, the perfect metaphor for all of us."

"Go on..." Lottie tilted her head, wondering where she was going with this.

"Well, we're all like different pieces of fruit. Some of us are oranges, others are apples..." Chelsea began with enthusiasm, then she swirled the pitcher slightly, watching the fruit bob around. "See how it's got all these fruits in? Grapes, oranges, apples? They're all different, but that's what makes sangria so good!" She let out a giggle, then announced, "I'm 100% a peach. That's, like, not up for debate."
