Your phone beeps.
But I'm sooooo comfy right now. You snuggle down deeper into the bed.
Bleary-eyed, you reach over to grab it and hold it in front of you, squinting in the harsh light.
A groan drifts across the communal bedroom. "Whose phone is that? It's so early."
Please don't make me get up...
You duck under the covers to read. You feel a thrill of excitement as you open the message.
"Grace, a new Islander is waiting to go on a date with you.
Please be ready to leave the Villa in one hour.
#mysteriousnewislander #thingsjustgotevenmoreinteresting."
You gasp. Oh my gosh! Your heart kicks into gear, sleep evaporating instantly.
Your thoughts tumble over each other—I have a date with a new Islander in one hour... Someone picked me for a date! I wonder what they'll be like... But Gary is still asleep... I should wake him. You turn over, surprised to find Gary missing.
Gary's out of bed, pulling on his trousers. You emerge from the covers and sit up. Gary looks at you in surprise. "I didn't wake you, did I?" Gary sits beside you and rubs his eyes.
