Kashvi had already opened her mouth to politely refuse her mother-in-law's sudden shopping plan when movement near the main gate caught her peripheral vision.
She turned slightly, only to find Sam half-hidden behind the wall, aggressively whispering her name while motioning her over like some undercover criminal.
Her brows furrowed.
These two idiots were definitely plotting something.
"Maa, I'll be back," she said quickly before anyone could question her, slipping away toward the kitchen.
The moment she entered, her hands went straight to her waist.
"Ab batao, kya hai?"
Both Sam and Advika instantly ducked behind the kitchen counter like criminals avoiding arrest.
Kashvi blinked.
What?
"Let's have pasta," Sam whispered dramatically, grabbing her wrist and pulling her down beside him on the floor.
She stared at him in disbelief.
"But why like this?"
"Isn't it obvious?" he deadpanned, opening the hidden container like it held state secrets. "Mom banned us from eating our favourites after the last disaster."
His glare shifted straight to Advika.
"Ye sab iss pagal chuhiya ki wajah se hua."
Advika, meanwhile, sat beside them completely unbothered, scrolling on her phone while shamelessly stuffing pasta into her mouth.
"Main sun rahi hoon," she muttered without even looking up.

Kashvi stared down at the plate in front of her, but strangely enough, her appetite faded.
Not because of the food.
Because these two had genuinely fought like wild animals, gotten tied up, nearly caused property destruction, and were now secretly having pasta together on the kitchen floor.
Dumbshits.
"You guys literally fought, got punished, and now this?"
She slowly pushed her plate toward them.
Sam immediately looked offended.
"Don't tell mom. You are my lovely bhabhi na."
And just like that, her heart melted a little.
She smiled despite herself.
Sometimes he really was adorable.
A tiny, chaotic, overdramatic child.
If only her own brother had even half this emotional stupidity.
"Bhabhi ka chamcha," Advika taunted instantly.
Kashvi rolled her eyes.
She was used to that title by now.
Honestly, not just Advika, even Mom and Danish probably agreed.
Only Dadaji, as expected, was their silent partner in crime.
That man supported every questionable decision as long as it entertained him.
