I am sort of disappointed in people, like every chapter has more than 100 reads , at least some have close to it...but the votes don't even cross 25 at times.

At least show some support, like the people I'm grateful for who have supported this story since the beginning... really thank you to you guys without you guys ye story band ho jaati.

Both Danish and Kashvi stood there quietly, the weight of Vikram Chahal's words settling heavily in the room.

"Everything happened the way you wanted," Vikram continued, his voice steady but filled with restrained hurt." Aapki maa ne hee kaha thha sagai ke samay par ki humari Kashvi aapke ghar ki bahu banegi aur ab aapki maa hee usse thukra rahi hain. Aap hee bataye hum kaise jaane de humari bachhi ko uss ghr?"

Danish didn't interrupt. He couldn't.

He understood this wasn't anger- it was a father protecting his child.

"We didn't agree to this marriage just because of family pressure," Vikram went on. "We trusted you. We believed we were giving our daughter into the right hands."

(" Humne iss shaadi ke liye haa sirf apne bade bhai ya aapki maa ke kehne par nahi kiya thha . Humei poora bharosa thha aap par , ki humari Kashvi hum sahi haatho mei saunp rahe hai,")

Danish's fingers tightened around Kashvi's hand.

That trust now stood questioned.

"But you won't go against your mother," Vikram said bluntly. "And my Kashvi won't go anywhere until your mother comes here herself and takes her back with respect."

Silence.

A final, firm line had been drawn.

"And don't think I'll stop you from meeting her," he added. "You can come here anytime. Stay here if you want. But she is not leaving this house like she was thrown out of yours."

With that, he turned and walked away.

Kashvi exhaled slowly, her chest feeling tight.

"Now what?" she whispered, gently shaking Danish.

But he didn't answer immediately.

His gaze had shifted.

Ree stood quietly in the corner-mfragile, hesitant, broken in ways words couldn't explain.

Danish looked at her for a second before speaking, his tone soft but direct,

"Do you want to see him?"

Ree's eyes instantly filled, but she still looked toward Rushant for permission.

A slight nod.

That was enough.

The drive to the hospital was silent.

Not peaceful silence- heavy silence.

The kind where every person is thinking too much but saying nothing.

Kashvi's fingers remained intertwined with Danish's the entire time.

Neither of them let go.

The moment they entered the hospital corridor, Kashvi didn't wait.
