I don't remember much from that party other than a few minor details. Ani had come with me. He was having fun with LA and a few of her friends for most of the party.
They offered me weed but I said no at first, knowing that my parents would kill me if I came home high. So I took a cigarette as another way to calm down and stop the bad thoughts. Zach, on the other hand, gladly took the joint. He was just laughing for a while and said a lot of weird stuff to me.
"He's totally stoned!" One of the guys exclaimed.
"Baked like a fucking cake." Another added.
Ani grabbed my hand and led me outside. And for once he looked happy.
"You really have changed, haven't you?" He said wit a smile.
I don't remember what I said or he said after that. All I know is that he kissed me and I kissed him. And we went back inside after that.
Then I remember looking at my boyfriend and holding the joint. Then everything around me started to move and I felt like I could fly. I felt invincible and amazing.
Until I woke up in a driveway.
