You knew you cried a little more than most, over the littlest things. But with Bokuto being your big brother you were never one to hide your emotions. But once you started dating Akaashi you tried to hide most of them. For instance the other day he came home to find you crying while fighting your phone. "Love? What's wrong?"
"Stupid phone won't stay charged. Every time i move it falls or unplugs and I can't not move because I was trying to grade these papers and I just... I got frustrated and I started crying, I'm sorry." You covered your face as the hot sensation ran down your face. Akaashi smiled walking over to you placing your already graded papers aside and grabbed your phone, he took his charger out switching yours with his. You sighed as the phone stayed charging as he climbed into bed, kissing your forehead gently.
"It's okay, love. Everyone gets frustrated, it's normal." He wiped your tears before kissing you softly. "I brought food home from your favorite restaurant, let's clear the bed and eat. We can even watch your favorite movie okay?" You nodded your head feeling much better as he disappeared into the kitchen.
There are other times when you just feel embarrassed. Like this morning, you slept peacefully next to Akaashi, he shook you gently as you slept. "Hm."
"Baby, I think you started your monthly." You jumped up looking at the sheet quickly seeing red. You ran to the bathroom cleaning yourself as much as you could before grabbing a pad. When you walked out the bathroom you saw him removing the sheet. He looked at you in time to see you darting out the room tears in the corner of your eyes. He followed you at the sound of cabinets closing harshly. "What are you doing?"
"I thought we still had some club soda. Y-you think you can run to the store and get some?" When you turned around you saw Akaashi looking at you weirdly. "I need club soda and salt, it should get the stain out, or stop it from staining. I don't want to ruin a perfectly good sheet." Akaashi dropped the sheet walking over to you to cup your face.
"It's just a sheet, love. I can afford another one. It's okay." He wrapped his arms around you holding you closely. "It happens, it's okay. I'm not at all mad at you or anything okay? It's just a sheet. Any guy who gets mad over a sheet is not a man, he's a boy. No matter how much it cost, okay?" You nodded your head sighing into him as he rubbed circles on your back. "I'll run you a hot bath and let you soak, then I'll run out and replace this sheet. I've been meaning to get rid of it anyway." You laughed lightly as he walked you to the bathroom.
You knew you were tired of crying, even if it's frustrated tears, or just embarrassed ones, to even crying over nothing. And you figured it must be getting tiring for Akaashi too. And with thanksgiving coming up, you made sure you'd try your hardest to keep it inside until you were alone. And you were doing well, you were proud of yourself, no disturbances at work or at home. You felt good about yourself but shitty about lying to Akaashi every time he asked if you were okay. Then thanksgiving came, Okiawa's team was getting ready for a match the next week, and asked your brother and Akaashi to help train them and prepare them for it. They didn't mind seeing it was good exercise, for Akaashi anyway. Bokuto is always full of energy, he just pulls from thin air.
The food was already done, and spaced out placed perfectly on the table, now everyone was chatting amongst themselves as they waited for the boys to arrive. You were coming back to the living room with two water bottles prepared for them when they got back. You stopped in your tracks as two girls talked, one girl sat on the arm of the couch as the other sat beside her. "I could never be with someone who cries a lot."
"Seriously, do you think she cries having sex? I mean, Akaashi is fine and all, but why put up with that."
"I saw her cry and apologize for running into someone. They had to apologize for making her cry." That's not right, you spilt hot coco on a very expensive employee, your boss. Of course you cried, he felt terrible about it, sure, but he explained that his wife will get the stain out. You were just worried you'd get fired. Before you could correct the boy, your brother walked in full of energy as always and right behind him, your drained boyfriend.
