Alright guys it's about that time and today I'm gonna tell you my thoughts on the latest Death Battle Aang VS Traveler.
All and all this was a great fight and as far as analysis goes they definitely did a great job on both sides and they especially improved on Aang's previous episode. The fight and animation were entertaining to watch my only problem is that it was kinda significantly shorter and I do wish Aether showed some respect towards Aang for a well fight since that has been the case in most recent episodes. But beyond that the fight and music were absolutely.
However the victor was blatantly obvious as there was no chance Aang was going to win against Traveler. Now granted my only problem with the post analysis is that they gave power a tie even though it should be obvious. I mean Aang and other Avatars need the Avatar State to do what Aether and even weaker characters can do casually and Archons like Raiden Shogun have been stated to manipulate stars and there are dragons who can create planetary storms, I mean I understand if Death Battle doesn't buy it but even without those fights Traveler should be leagues stronger than Aang. But beyond that they got everything else correct. There was no way Aang has an answer to Traveler combining multiple elements at once and Traveler thanks to various weapons and items that allow him to resist said elements. Meanwhile Aang has no resistance to any elements he's using as we saw he got not diffed when Azula shot him with lightning. And energybending sure as Hell wasn't going either because Aether's elements don't work the same as Aang's and even if they did Aang would need to catch him first which is easier said than done when Traveler can react to light speed while Aang can react to lightning. There was no doubt in my mind that Traveler was going to win. Sorry Aang but Edward Elric can rest knowing he's avenged. I don't care for the next episode, y'all got it.
