Alright guys it's about that time and today's question of the day is: If you had to eliminate 3 Nintendo franchises on this list which ones are you choosing? As of the making of this chapter 3 people responded.

Frame one Mario. Is staying. Not only is he my favorite video game franchise of all time but without him Nintendo would not be as popular as it is. There is no Nintendo without Mario so it's staying because nobody even has the slightest potential to compete with Mario unless their name is Sonic the Hedgehog.
Frame two Kirby is also staying. Just like Mario, Kirby is an all time favorite video game franchise it has so many rememberable games and it has some of the best music in gaming, yeah I'm not getting rid of Kirby.
The next one to stay is Zelda. I my not have played the Zelda games myself but I admire Zelda enough for me to spare it because it's a beautiful game series and is basically the second best alongside Mario so yeah I'm keeping Zelda.
Next one to stay is Pokémon. The games might not be that great nowadays but Pokémon as a whole especially the concept of Pokémon is so beautiful. I may not play the games but I did watch the anime which further influenced my view on Pokémon like seriously seeing all these animals with super powers battling it out while living together with humans in harmony? As an animal lover that's the most amazing concept ever I would love to live that would so Pokémon is staying.
Which leaves us with the last four. The four either least interesting or less relevant. Metroid, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, and Star Fox. I haven't played any of these respective franchises and I'm kind of glad that they did because outside of Super Smash Bros there is almost nothing interesting about them.
But at least with Metroid it has a lot of interesting stuff going for it I mean for starters Samus is literally one of the most iconic female video game character of all time ever since the very first game where her gender was revealed and the lore behind it is enough for me to spare Metroid even if the gameplay is kinda ass.
Which unfortunately means I'm gonna have to get rid of Kid Icarus. Other than Super Smash Bros, Kid Icarus is basically irrelevant like we haven't had a new Kid Icarus since 2012 which is literally 14 years ago and I loved Kid Icarus Uprising. Man Nintendo did this franchise dirty it had so much potential and they did this dirty and until a new game comes out or even a remake of Uprising I stand by that.
I have no remorse eliminating Fire Emblem because the only time those characters ever had aura was Super Smash Bros, especially Brawl in the Subspace story and honestly the stories don't look all that interesting and the gameplay isn't well.... Not bad but it could've been better.
The same is also said for Star Fox. They didn't have much aura since Super Smash Bros and again especially Brawl's story mode and not to mention I can honestly play better space games than Star Fox especially now after that trailer where the redesigns of the new game. If it wasn't for the Mario Galaxy Movie I genuinely would've forgotten that Star Fox existed at least until the new Smash Bros game. So yeah. Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokémon, and Metroid are staying but Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, and Star Fox can go.
