Alright guys it's about that time and today's question of the day is: Which clan massacre was more justified? As of the making of this chapter six people responded and five said the Zenin Clan.

And I would have to agree with those five people.

First let's take a look at the Uchiha Clan at first glance their massacre seemed justified because the clan was plotting a coop against Konoha to take over the village, but when you look at this differently you will realize things are not as they seem. The only reason the Uchiha plotted a coop was because the village continuously discriminated against them for something a few Uchiha did. Like with Madara attacking the village to fight Hashirama, the Uchiha should not be blamed for this especially since Madara himself stated that even his own clan didn't go along with it. That should tell you everything that you need that not Uchiha are not bad. But Konoha doesn't care especially not Danzo and the elders be it out of seer fear or in Danzo's case out of pure hatred. They continuously treated the Uchiha like trash because they feared that they all might end up becoming like Madara, with Danzo even wanting to kill them all. It got even worse on the night of the Nine Tails attack when Obito extracted the Nine Tails from Kushina to attack the village and just as Fugaku and the Uchiha were about to step in and helped saved Konoha they were given orders by Danzo and the elders to not interfere fearing that an Uchiha was responsible and while that was true by that point Obito was already a rogue ninja and his no affiliation with the village. And this also no coincidence that the elders stoped the Uchiha from helping defeat the Nine Tails because had they intervened and stopped Kurama, the Uchiha would've been recognized as heroes who put the village first over their own clan and thus the narrative that Danzo and the elders established would've collapsed which is why the stopped the Uchiha to interfere so they can give Konoha an excuse to blame the Uchiha for the attack and outcast them to the edge of the village and put them under severance. That was the last straw an the Uchiha decided to plot a coop and I honestly can't blame them, like I'd be damned if I was outcast for who am I and blamed for something one person did. And it also doesn't help that Shisui had a perfect idea to stop the coop yet Danzo killed him and took his eye, then to add more insult to injury Hiruzen barely did anything to prevent it and allowed himself to be influenced by Danzo and the elders but the worst case was probably Itachi. Contrary to what fans believe Itachi was not pushed into a corner like people believed as he had multiple options to stop the coop without innocent people being slaughtered, he could've killed Danzo with his genjutsu to make his death look like an accident,  or report what Danzo did to Shisui to Hiruzen and make sure he takes the necessary actions to stop Danzo or just tell Sasuke everything so he can influence the clan to not go with the coop because both sides would have innocent lives dead, but instead he allowed himself to be influenced by Danzo, slaughtered the clan with the help from Obito. The coop and the massacre was completely avoidable but the village insisted on mistreated the Uchiha for the actions of a few and innocent people including children paid the price and as a result they created their own worst enemy in Sasuke. I can't even blame Sasuke for wanting to destroy Konoha as revenge. If I lived his life and went through what he went through I would want revenge on Konoha too. You can't expect me to care about the innocence when you couldn't even do the same with the Uchiha's innocent members. The Uchiha was pushed to a corner and they either had to stay silent or fight back against their oppressors and they choose the later and I couldn't blame them.

The same however cannot be said for the Zenin Clan. Unlike the Uchiha, the Zenin were actual pieces of shit who value strength over all else and got completely arrogant as a result I mean look at Toji bro was mistreated because he didn't have any Cursed Energy and as a result was casted aside like trash because of this. No wonder he turned out the way he did because if you are someone without Cursed Energy I pray for you because you will be looked down upon, mistreated, and abused. And it's actually even worse if you are a woman. To the Zenin clan women are naturally inferior the only reason they exist is so they can be their servants and give birth to children. That's it. No training, no love no nothing, you could literally be someone who has the potential to be gifted and become one of the greatest Jujutsu Sorcerers in the Zenin Clan but would still be completely outcast just because you had the sheer nerve, the audacity to be born a woman instead of a man. And what makes this even more pathetic is that they caused their own downfall. The only reason Maki even returned to the clan is because she wanted to collect a weapon, she wasn't looking for violence or bloodshed or anything of the sorts she was looking for a weapon but because she's a woman and the clan hates women even her own father Orgi, Maki ended up taking a beating by her sorry excuse of a father and she and her sister Mai were left to died by Cursed Spirits. Things got so bad that Mai had to sacrifice herself so Maki can reach her full potential because in Jujutsu Kaisen twins are seen as one person and after Mai dies telling her to destroy everything, Maki finally snapped she killed her father, slaughtered dozens of members, and destroyed the strongest Zenin members including Naoya with her bare hands. She took it step further and murdered all the Zenin who weren't present in the battle including her mother and effectively erased the Zenin Clan from existence. And I can't blame her I would've done the exact same thing if I was in her shoes. The Uchiha were provoked and misunderstood but the Zenin were evil from the start so yeah I definitely say Maki slaughtering the Zenin was more valid and justified than Itachi slaughtering the Uchiha.

But y'all let me know what you picked in the comments.
