Alright guys it's about that time and today's question of the day is: What is the one YouTube channel you used to watch but you stopped watching and learned about their downfall years later? As of the making of this chapter only two people responded.

Based on my experience I would definitely have to go with WatchMojo.
Before having a YouTube account of my own I actually loved watching WatchMojo when I was younger in the earlier 2010s. I used to watch them for hidden details of certain comic book characters from Marvel and DC I even watched some of their content when in regards to Top 10 stuff about Disney movies, anime (they even had voice actors like Todd Haberkorn do a couple anime themed videos), video games, and a couple more stuff. Sure their way of making content was questionable like making like 5 or more videos a day and then they make some content relating to real life like Top 10 school shootings (which I don't even know why you would rank tragedy but okay) but I still was watching them even in my high school years and I didn't think some of the narrators were that bad as the people in WatchMojo were just giving some of their opinions and nothing else. However by the time 2020 came around I slowly and surely stopped watching their content because I didn't find them interesting anymore. And I basically forgot about them because I don't remember watching their videos in 2021, 2022, or beyond.
However just recently I rediscovered them being in some controversy that revealed their true colors. I saw this video called WatchMojo's downfall should be celebrated where a YouTuber named voyan where he simply criticized their methods of making videos and their content in general and they actually commented on the channel and did this that sparked their downfall.

Yeah clearly voyan's video was so great that WatchMojo a big channel decided to comment going on a literal rant and even getting cocky about their fame and was clearly full of hatred. Now granted from what I can tell from videos discussing this it was mostly their CEO as not every employee who worked at WatchMojo is this stupid but nevertheless this comment was the beginning of their downfall as people began clowning on them. This all would've been avoided if they just ignored the video and just continued to do their own thing. Especially since they admitted to not watching the video.
But that wasn't the only thing. They recently made a video called 10 YouTubers Who Made Videos When They Knew They Were Dying. Making a video like that was already distasteful enough especially since they did that before but during the video they decided to so an AI music advertisement in the middle of a video talking about people who are either dying, were dying but survived, or were already dead and even put in the link of the channel called SoundMojo. Now I've already made my opinions on AI clear in the past and I truthfully don't really care nor am I against the use of AI if in the right hands, but this is the equivalent of me at a funeral promoting a new video game at a place we're people are trying to honor a person who recently died. That's how distasteful it is. Now granted because of the backlash WatchMojo cut out the AI but you can still find the unedited version on YouTube. I also learned that as far back as 2016 to 2017 that they stole clips from a gaming YouTuber and claimed he was spreading misinformation which is not the case.
Yeah nah. WatchMojo may not be completely dead they still have enough views to make money even though the views are no longer in the millions compared to where they were a decade ago when I was watching them, but it's people like their CEO that's just so butthurt that they make decisions like this is why it caused people to stop watching them. Thank God I unsubscribed from their channels years ago when I did cause they fell off hard. Yeah I definitely would say WatchMojo was the YouTube channel I used to watch but then discovered their downfall.
